Great Solution for Shaky Hands and Poor Eyesight
I am a ‘Do it yourselfer’ for my own manicure and I have three different reasons. First, it saves me the expense, and secondly, I do not have to drive any place and hunt for a parking spot. My third reason is I can do my own manicure at my own convenience any time in the evening and at the end of the day, instead of the hassle of scheduling an appointment according to the manicurist’s available timetable. However, there is a small compromise for this convenience. I am right-handed, therefore when I use my right hand to paint the nails on my left hand, my nail polish comes out okay, but when I work left-handed to paint my nails on my right hand, I receive terrible results. My left-handed attempts are poor, my hand starts to shake, and the polish gets all over my fingers on my right hand. In addition, since I am far-sighted any close-up work becomes a blur. Therefore, I spend too much time trying to correct all my mistakes with nail polish remover, and mess up the polish on the sides of my fingernails and my cuticles. Additionally, sometimes I’m too aggressive and when I try to dig off the extra polish from my skin, the skin around my fingers starts to bleed. This latex liquid tape just takes a few seconds to apply around each fingernail and it saves sooo much clean-up time. Furthermore, it saves me from the pain of digging out the polish from my skin around my nails. Before I start my manicure, I brush the pink latex all around my fingernail, let it dry for a minute or two, and then continue with my normal manicure. After the last top coat is dry, I use tweezers to grab one end of the latex tape, and it peels off in one long elasticized strip. As it peels off, it removes all the excess polish from around each fingernail, leaving an almost perfect and flawless result. For me, the Pureen latex peel off liquid tape is a mistake-proof solution, within a few seconds this liquid tape removes all the excess polish from the around my nails and the cuticles. It eliminates all the mistakes that I’ve made due to my shaking left hand, and my less than perfect eyesight.

Crazy smell but works perfectly
The smell will always be there, like nasty rubber, but it's easy to use and dries quickly. Great product.

and is *mostly* easy to use and fool-proof
Ordered this for my wife. This is her review: Product does what it's supposed to, and is *mostly* easy to use and fool-proof. Caveats are 1. One hand at a time. Don't let your fingers come CLOSE to each other when they've got this on the skin because once it touches, both fingers will pull off whether you want them to or not! 2. Takes practice to do it on your dominant hand without getting on the nail. Don't give up. 3. DO NOT, under any circumstances, allow the polish you put on your nails after applying this around the cuticles to dry before pulling up this product! IT WILL NOT REMOVE THE POLISH, and you will be left with a "fringe" edge of polish. I didn't think about that, and in an attempt to save product, thought I'd wait until after I applied the second coat of polish to take this product off (so as not to "waste" by applying this for each layer - I was attempting a geometric nail art pattern using 3 colors in 3 steps). After polish has been successfully applied, remove this product (and the errant polish on it) IMMEDIATELY - especially if it's glitter!! Reapply if necessary for subsequent nail art designs. Just trust me on this one. 4. It smells. Not *horrible* (like I've read in reviews for less-expensive products like this), but enough to be noticeable. Upon removal of the product, the smell does not linger long (wash your hands when your nails are dry and the smell disappears entirely). Don't let it deter you from using this product. All in all, it takes some practice and there's a learning curve, but it's well worth the price - especially if you enjoy doing nail art that can get messy (splatters, water marbling, sponging, etc.)

Great! A must have for doing nails.
This latex take peel off cuticle guard is great. Goes on quick dries quick comes off easy! Really great for keeping your lines clean and sharp or for when you're stamping your nails.

Does the trick, but dries out quick
I love this product for it's purpose, which it does serve: easily surrounding your nails with a thin coat of latex that you can peel off after painting your nails. This stuff is a must for me now that I've discovered it, because I've never been able to "color inside the lines" when it comes to painting my nails. With this, I'm doing my nails more often. The latex serves its purpose. However, it dries out really quickly, which I found strange, because I didn't exactly leave it open for any stretch of time. I mean, more than half of the bottle is full, but it's dried out. It still works, and it's pretty cheap, so that's why I bought it again, and I probably would again. I will keep looking for another one that can beat this in function AND price, but until then, I'll stick to this. Even though it dries out fast, I still feel like I'm getting my money's worth. Also, prepare for a bit of a bad smell, especially the older it gets. Apparently, this is normal for this type of product, but it's not pleasant.

Perfect!
I was looking for a good liquid latex for my nails. I'd considered buying Simply Peel but that price was a little too high. The Pueen option is about half the price. I have used glue and another brand of liquid latex (not sp). The glue took forever and the other brand peeled off in tiny little pieces. My hopes for Pueen weren't very high. To my utter delight, it worked flawlessly! The brush is long and a little stiff, which is what you want. It's also skinny enough that I can get real close to my nail. The latex itself goes on opaque and dries to a clear hot pink color. The bottle says it takes 2 minutes but I found it took less than that. You can see it dry as you apply. Make sure you have a good grip on it when you peel it, or it'll snap back and mess up your nail. Also, keep your fingers separate, otherwise they'll stick together. Now it does have a smell. It isn't great but it isn't unpleasant either. It doesn't smell like latex, which surprised me, but it smells like something. I can't place it. It isn't strong, just... there.

A big help for clumsy hands.
I painted my own nails for the very first time and this helped majorly. I did watch more than one video on how to use liquid latex properly and that helped a ton. I had almost no nail polish to clean off when I was done, and I did apply the latex thickly because that was recommended on the video and the latex was easy to remove (and it did not take long to dry). It does have a gross fish like odor to it, so I was worried about how bad it would smell while doing my nails, but I actually could barely smell it unless I directly sniffed my nails or the bottle. I asked another person who was in the room if they could smell it and they said no. I also did not rinse my hands off when I was done and I'm still not detecting any odor. So the smell isn't really a big issue to me. Some reviewers said the bottle dries out quickly, but I've only used this once so I do not know if that is an issue. I showed someone my nails and they were very surprised it was my first time doing my own nails. I think this latex made a big difference in that! Overall I am very pleased.

Bad quality
Got it and it was completely dried up. I was not able to request credit since it was past 30 days.

works great
Love it! Wish I had known this stuff existed long ago. Could have saved me such a hassle over the years. Works great, easy to use. My only concern is that it dries really quickly so do I have to worry that the whole bottle may dry out over time? I'm worried that once I get to half a bottle it may be turning to a solid. Time will tell I guess. So far so good. Will update if I have issues.

Not for UV gel polish
Good quality, easy to apply and easy to peel off. However, it is just good for regular nail polish. It doesn’t work for UV gel polish.

Pretty good
I see that a lot of people have issues with temperature. I bought mine in summer and it came fine. Application isn’t too hard. (I recommend two coats) It is a bit hard to get along your cuticle line though and it may stick your fingers together if your fingers touch.

do not order if you live in a cold counry
I lie in Canada and just received this on my front porch. I work from home so it wasn't outside for very long. When I tried to open the bottle the brush broke off and was stuck in a rubbery solid blob of latex. This is useless. I tried to let it thaw but bu it had hardened completely from the cold. Too bad, I had high hopes and now I have to go trough the exercise of dropping it off for return & refund.
