Good paint, good value.
Have never gone wrong with this paint. It goes on very well on different surfaces, doesn't drip and the anti-mould/damp works very well. The white is very clear with a good sheen. Also, the top was stuck down securely and it was in its own box so no problem with leaks.

Good
So, I’ve used this in my bedroom because I got sick of the previous grey (still one wall having the old paint) that gets a stain from everything and the stain stays. If I sneeze to heartedly or my hands are wet and I splash by accident or I spray a bit too close to the wall the trace becomes part of the decoration. This paint is amazing no trace and very wipeable too. Shade is a bit darker than shows on the tin, but not by much, also dries quick and has good coverage.

Nice colour and finish
Good quality paint and nice colour and finish for my bathroom. It did take 2 solid coats to get a good finish but was with the effort. The finish feels hard wearing and has a sheen but not as overboard like a gloss. It’s a great compromise between matte and gloss. I would purchase for other areas of my home where a harder wearing finish is needed.

Crisp Finish, Moisture-Resistant & Easy to Apply
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 "Crisp Finish, Moisture-Resistant & Easy to Apply – A Must for Bathrooms!" I purchased this Johnstone’s Bathroom Paint in Brilliant White specifically for our upstairs bathroom, which often deals with steam and condensation. After using it, I’m genuinely impressed—it’s professional-quality paint without the professional price. ✅ What I Loved: Bright, Clean Finish: The brilliant white colour really lifted the whole space. It reflects light beautifully, making our small bathroom feel much more open. Mid-Sheen = Perfect Balance: Not too shiny, not matte—this finish hides minor imperfections but still resists water stains. Stain-Blocking Power: Covered old water marks near the ceiling in just two coats. No yellowing, no bleed-through. Very effective. Low Odour: A pleasant surprise—no overwhelming smell like some paints. I painted in the evening and the room was fresh by morning. Quick Drying: Touched dry in under two hours as advertised. Great for doing the job in stages over a weekend. Good Coverage: One 2.5L tin was more than enough for two coats on our medium-sized bathroom (walls and ceiling). ✅ Application Tips: I used both a roller and brush—paint went on smoothly without dragging or streaking. I recommend doing two lighter coats rather than one thick one for the best result.

The Black Mould of Doom, A Bathroom Horror Story (with a surprisingly happy ending)
It began, as these things often do, with one tiny patch. Barely noticeable. A smudge above the shower that I optimistically called “shadowing.” I wiped it away with the confidence of a woman who owns both bleach and purpose. Two days later, it was back. Bigger. Bolder. More confident. By the end of the week it had started spreading like it was auditioning for The Last of Us. I swear I could hear faint villain music every time I went in to brush my teeth. We scrubbed, we sprayed, we opened the window so wide we nearly froze to death, but no matter what we did, that mould thrived. At one point I caught my husband staring at it, muttering, “It’s learning.” Then came the breaking point. One evening, after an hour of furious scrubbing, I looked up and it was back again. I could almost feel it laughing at me. That’s when I snapped. I marched to my laptop, hair full of bleach fumes, and typed, 'BEST PAINT TO DESTROY MOULD FOREVER' Enter - this glorious tin of miracle mould-repelling paint. When it arrived, I treated it like a sacred object. Gave it its own corner on the counter. Whispered, “You’re our only hope.” The next day, we painted like people possessed. Just one coat, ONE COAT! And it covered everything beautifully. It was thick, smooth, and satisfying, like buttering toast with vengeance. We stood back and admired it. “Looks good,” my husband said. I nodded, suspiciously watching the corners like the final scene of a horror film. Weeks passed. Nothing. No return of the shadow. No creeping black edges. No whispering mould voices in the steam. The bathroom was finally free. Now, every time I shower, I look up at that clean ceiling with the kind of pride usually reserved for people who climb Everest or complete a tax return on time. The tin still has loads left in it too, I’m half tempted to paint the whole house, just in case any other walls are thinking of rebelling. So, if your bathroom looks like it’s auditioning for Stranger Things, do yourself a favour, buy this paint. It’s not just paint. It’s a weapon of domestic warfare.

Thick and blocks stains
Does what it says on the tin. Blocks stains from before and seems to be deterring mold as well. Great item.

Great value for money
Lovely warm shade of blue/grey .. Best applied with a roller as quite thick and gives great coverage on prepared walls. Nice soft sheen as described in details.
