Everki Commute 18.4-Inch Laptop Sleeve with Memory Foam (EKF808S18)

At first I was really on the fence for paying $50 for a sleeve, however, now that I received it, I do not regret my purchase at all.I've been looking for a sleeve for my MSI GT73VR for the longest time. Why did I struggle with this so much? Because the dimensions of my laptop are approximately 17" x 12.25" x 2.25"; this is one of the biggest laptops, in terms of size, on the market. I couldn't find anything on Amazon (or eBay) that would fit something like this that was not a full on messenger bag. I needed something to protect my laptop while it was in my backpack during my travels or day to day transport (if I decide to bring this brick of a laptop with me for whatever reason).This bag was finally the one that would actually comfortably fit my laptop, which alone makes the price tag more acceptable to me.Things I like:Good protection/paddingHeavy duty zippers, much thicker than normal ones (see last picture)Fabric inside sleeve for both corners and middle loop to secure laptop (see second picture)Optional carrying handle loops which fold awayLifetime warranty (I only found this out when I received the sleeve)Things I do not like:The orange accents (preference issue, however the orange accents are very minimal)The fact you can't close the zippers fully if using the carrying handle loopsBeside the very minor grips, I am very happy with the clever design that this sleeve uses. The overall build quality is great, and everything fits together well. I personally like the orange highlights (orange is my favorite color though), but some folks find it offputting. I agree with the other reviewers, the handles are pretty dumb. You have to leave it unzipped in order to use the handles (or secure the pocket). For my use, it won't be a huge deal because the whole case is going into my actual laptop backpack along with my laptop.I got this for my XP-Pen Artist Pro 15.6. It just fits inside the sleeve and seems quite secure. I have no issues getting the (3rd party) stand going into the pocket on the outside, and I can get the stylus and gloves inside as well with no issue.If you are buying this for a laptop, I'm not sure how well it would work. I assume if you have an 18" laptop, it's going to be pretty beefy. For example, I have a Titan GT76 (17" screen), and I think it would fit snugly in the sleeve, but I'm not sure I could get one brick in the pocket, much less the 2 I have. On the off chance I could, there is no way my external mouse is also going to fit, nor any game controllers. If it's for a workstation, it might work for you, just be aware of the dumb handle design.

My large 17.3" Dell laptop needed an extra large case for toting the thing around and this puppy fits the bill. It wasn't easy finding the appropriate size, either, thus I settled for the 18+'. I'm happy with this product; it appears well-made and it's just what I wanted, a sleeve really and not a suitcase. There is that extra space, but it's a good compromise as I can fit other flat items along with the machine and power cord/mouse.

I ended up not using this very often. I purposely bought a case larger than my 17" laptop so I would have room to stick the cords and such in there. Case does have padding along edges, though it is thinnish. The awkward part is the handle and the way the case fastens in between it. I would have liked a longer carrying strap, as my laptop is monstrous, but I knew what this was when I bought it. It's just not easy when you're stuck between portability and having hands too large to comfortably use a netbook.

I was bummed when I could not fit my R3 inside the sleeve. So just because I can't fit my laptop inside I'm not going to give this great product a bad review, which makes no sense to me. So outside of that this is an awesome laptop sleeve and I will use it for my 15" laptop instead. The bag has a nice size compartment for paper work or other flat items you may carry. The inside of the bag for the laptop storage is plush and feels really smooth. The memory foam compresses once you squeeze it and once the pressure is off it returns to its original form. If you utilize the handles inside the sleeve to carry your laptop around using the sleeve as your bag you will not be able to close it completely due to the handles being stitched inside the bag, but inside the bag on the rear side there is a scrap with velcro on it that you pull out and place it on the velcro between the pocket to give it look of being completely sealed off. The handles can be tuck inside the bag and completely zipped close then placed inside a backpack or in a suit case. The outside of the bag is nice too and it seems like it would be able to take a spill or a little rain if you are briefly caught in a rain shower. So now I need to go back to Everki website to see if they a have a 18 or 19 inch laptop sleeve. I hope my review was helpful, but my main purpose was to warn R3 user and others who may have a slightly larger 17 inch laptop.

The bag is too tight for my dell 18.4 after squeezing it in, The little Cushion it has become null and void because of the pressing. So if it tap or bump anything no protection. Another inch would have made a big difference. But it fit my 17 inch laptop perfect with cord.
