Great for mining rigs and other headless PCs
Bought the 3 pack and all work great. I use one for a headless mining rig. I use Teamviewer to remote into the mining rig but Teamviewer can't remote into a PC if it boots without a monitor plugged in (i.e.headless). So without this plug I had to have a monitor plugged into the PC when it booted which made PC resets, power outages and updates painful. Now I just put this plug into the mining rig's HDMI port and I'm free to access the rig any time and reboot as needed. I use another plug for a Minecraft server. I can now tuck this Minecraft server into the corner, access it remotely, and maintain the PC as needed. The final one I use to allow another PC to stream in 4k by now tricking it into thinking it has a 4k monitor plugged in.
