The Orajel 3x for Toothache worked well for some minimal gum and tooth pain I’ve been experiencing. This was my first time using a product like this. I will use it again in the future but only when absolutely necessary as there are some downsides. The application out of the tube can be challenging and it is hard to tell if it was applied to the correct location. Your check / tongue will also go numb if the gel gets on either. It has a good amount of product in the tube and only a small amount is needed to relieve any pain. It lasts for about an hour which is long enough for a standard pain medication to kick in. It works well for immediate relief.

After applying it, the numbing sensation feels very similar to what you get at the dentist before a deep cleaning. It’s very easy to use, doesn’t have an unpleasant taste, and works quickly. Overall, it’s a great value for the price and I would definitely recommend it.
