The product description states "pure standardized extract of the fruit of Bitter Melon standardized to contain 100% Memordica Charantia." This product is not a standardized extract. It is merely 100% ground up bitter melon leaves (Memordica Charantia). Genuine Bitter Melon standardized extracts always state the amount of the active ingredient included, such as "standardized to 10% bitters." This product does not state anything about being standardized to any any mount of bitters. FAIL.I do not recommend this product. I would recommend the NOVA Nutrition brand sold here on Amazon. It's a genuine extract.

My blood work showed my kidneys are failing and my Dr. told me I can't take medforim anymore. I tried many other types scripts and none worked. After hrs of research I bought these and Bitter Melon 500 mg 90 Vcaps by Nova Nutritions. I take them 3 times a day and my blood sugar is now lower than it has been before. This may not work for everyone but it worked for me.

It's very good and easy to swallow, I make a liquid with the plant that produce this it's pure but it's not that tasty, so with this capsule it's easy to take
