Lantern Style Electric Tart/Oil Warmer

I bought this to use near my computer. I have four cats who like to jump up on my desk all the time and I didn't want one of them accidentally hitting a tart warmer with a flame. I have only used it once, but it worked perfectly. I like the ability to adjust the bulb temperature. My tart quickly melted and my office was filled with a nice scent while I worked. When I turned it off, the wax cooled much the same as blowing out a candle and I had zero issues.The style is very nice; the four legs giving it a solid platform. However, it is light though, and I think if it was bumped, it would easily slide across the desk or knock over, so that is something to consider. I have mine set in a corner where it won't be knocked about. The dish just rests on top, allowing it to be lifted up to wash as needed.Since I have only used it once for a couple hours, I am not sure on the durability, but that is something I will be watching as I use it more.

The glass was misshapen and also the light was too far away from the glass to get it hot enough to get any scent from tarts, where I have not had problems with other ones that I have bought, especially ceramic ones that have a top piece that the tarts or oil go into and it sits directly on the heat source. Also very cheap looking.

I like how it looks in my living room it is really pretty.. and i love how you can turn up and down the light and not just on and off like other oil warmers.. but the bulb only last for 4 months and when order the replacement it doesnt turn up and donwn no more is either on or off and it smells funny like its going to burn.. i think is is too high.. but like i said you cant turn it down no more.. =/ other than that i loved my lamp for the 4 months the original bulb last it..

I've been using this warmer for over a year now and still haven't had to change the bulb.I LOVE the dimmer feature and that it can be used as soft lighting in the room. :)

It takes a little longer than a candle to warm the wax but this is expected being electric versus fire. I have an asian theme going and this matches perfectly. I didn't realize that the yellow is actually a paper-like looking film that adds to the look making this look like an actual paper lantern setup.

The first thing I did when I unpacked the box was spend 15 minutes supergluing all the legs back as they had all become unattached/broken off. It's all in one piece now, albeit somewhat wobbly and not exactly classy looking.If you don't mind any of that, this does melt wax tarts nicely, and the dimmer switch to control heat is a nice option.

This lamp is not of the highest quality, but it is very adjustable in light output, and well enough built to last a good amount of time.A few imperfections but the warm glow is nice, and the oil warmer works as advertised. Pretty happy with it overall.

Odd color. really small. Not what I expected.
