The perfect door stopper that’s cute too! They work well for doors that swing too far open and are sturdy enough to stop the door. They were super easy to install. The bright brass looked best with our older door hinges.

These work great on doors with hinge pins still in them that are able to be removed. If you have hinges on your door, make sure you look at them before purchasing due to some of the hinges on your existing doors. The door pin may not come out you have to have the ability of a pin coming out of the hinge in order to install these.

I am renting but it appears that most of the doors in this house clash together, such a bad design. Anyway I wanted to avoid damage to any of the doors which is why I bought this set of bumper hinges. I loved that these were available in white as I didn't want them to stand out too much (getting another color would have looked odd). These were very simple to install. Just unscrew or screw the stopper side to fit the gap to ensure your door handle doesn't smash into the wall door etc. There is a sturdy rubber knob at one end and at the other end of the stopper is a clear type plastic which you can slide to suit your fit (see pictures). As with most things you do still have to be careful (not heavy handed) with your doors otherwise you will probably find that these will cause damage to your frame or door. I highly recommend these especially if you are on a budget!

These brass door stops look good and protect walls and wood. I like to use 2 for smaller doors, and 3 for heavy doors because they don't have a lot of surface area, and can still dent woodwork if the door really flies open. One thing that happens over time with all these kinds of doors stops is the rubber bumpers get holes poked in them from repeated pressing by the brass adjusting screw. When the rubber ages, it cracks, and then the brass screw dents the wood. You can help by adding felt pads to the wood so it has double protection. If you live in a historic house with lots of guests, these door stops can really save a lot of damage.
