Bought a pair to last me a couple of years. I don't do a lot of printing but these replacements last longer than the one that came with the printer when I bought it.

I’m glad I bought the original and not one of the knock off version of this HP ink. It was easy for me to insert into my old HP printer and no error messages and I was able to print immediately. I didn’t even have to do a print set up page. It was worth the full price because I didn’t have a headache of other brands.

I have been using my HP LaserJet printer for over 10 YEARS! Since the printer continues to operate well, I am planning on using for as long as possible. I have never purchased knock-off toners for the printer - I have always used the HP brand. The ink quality is excellent and the toners last for months. The only negative about the HP products is the price, however they have not increased at all since my prior purchase the other year.

This toner cartridge works with the printer I needed it for. It prints good quality prints when I have done black and white printing. For this type of printer ink it was a good price but I find printer ink is almost always expensive. That being said a printer that is just black and white printing takes a long time to use up all the ink unlike the colored cousins. The last time I ordered this ink it lasted me well over 3 years.

Perfect. H P. Is the only cartridges that work for my printer

This is the fourth OEM original 85A (CE285A) cartridge going into my home multi-function unit (HP LaserJet Pro MF1212nf) and although the print quality is excellent, the page count isn’t what I would expect for the price. In my home environment the average page count has been running just over 1300 before issues appear – e.g., warning lights and/or print quality issues. The advertised 1600 pages would be bad enough, but 1300!! HP needs to up the amount of toner or reduce the price of the cartridge. Just for the record, I’ve tried using remanufactured cartridges in the past and found them to be mostly hit-n-miss – some are okay while others went right back to the supplier!! I guess the bottom line is that if you got time to fiddle around, you can probably find a good remanufactured substitute at a considerable savings; however, if you want generally good consistency then you’re stuck with HP’s OEM cartridges. That doesn’t mean that HP always has the best – I’ve had one HP OEM that failed the grade. Right out of the box, it produced a gray, runny-looking background and slightly fuzzy text. The good news is that HP replaced it at no cost to me and paid for all the shipping.

Great product. This is the second time I have ordered this item via Amazon. I have read a lot of negative reviews which stated that they did not receive an authentic HP product as described, therefore I chose a seller (Electro Hub) which did not have any seller feedback indicating that their products were anything but as described. I know this is a review of the product but it is important to receive the actual product which is shown, which I did, at the best price available on here.
