ColumbiaMens flex roc pant

I like the pant. However, it has taken multiple deliveries to get them. I ordered them in 34/30 and 2 pair came in labeled 34/30 but measured 30 or 31/30. Finally, the 3rd pair was correct. Then, I ordered a pair at 35/30. That pair just arrived and is on it's way back because it measures 32/30.I do like the pant when the size is correct and appreciate Amazon's return policy.

The rest of the review also holds for the regular ROC II pants. The "flex" version of the ROC II is a rubberized version. It doesn't breath well and stretches/feels about like the elastic band in underwear. After first washing the seams around the pockets puckered and don't lay flat. That's in addition to the "stock" issues that come with the ROC II pants:ROC II pants:The back pockets use velcro to stay shut. Every time I crouch down there's a tearing sound, like pants ripping, where the velcro is pulling apart slightly. Worse than that, the scratchy half of the velcro is on the pocket flap, which means that it scratches the back of my hand Every. Single. Time. I put my hand in my back pocket. My job has badge access that I keep in my wallet, so the pants scratch me every time I badge into work, every time I buy something in a store, etc. If the scratchy velcro part were on the pants (instead of the pocket flap) then I could hold my hand away from it, but there's no escaping my hand rubbing the pocket flap.Finally, the original ROC pants had a side pocket down by the knee. On the ROC II, the pocket has been moved to behind the regular pocket. You can put a phone in the side pocket and keys in the regular pocket, but now your "pocket" region is twice as thick, and the keys can still press the screen on the phone.It seems like nobody actually tried these pants on before they were sent to be mass produced.

The description says "flex," and these do have some flex, which is a nice addition to a classic pant design. Zippered pocket on the right side works well to secure items, and the down-leg pocket works well for a knife or phone as large as an iPhone 7 or the like. The color is a muted grey-green that ages well into a more muted grey-green that goes with everything. I love ROC pants as a less "dad caargo" or "tacticool" pant - they are utilitarian without screaming "I'M CARRYING WEAPONS ON ME."

I have to say that these pants are the best style I have yet been able to find in khakis - not too dressy, not too casual. The material is a medium weight and just the right amount of stretch. I think that they wear just a bit tight in the leg and the waist is a bit tight as well. I usually wear a 36 and have plenty of room in the waist, but not on these. I'm ordering a 38 for comparison. And no, I didn't get fat, I'm the same 181 lbs / 6' I've been for the last ten years. Otherwise, these are great.

I've always liked the original ROC pants, and I feel like these are a nice improvement on those. I love the flex which allows for more dynamic movement without them being baggy. I'm not yet sure how I feel about the thigh pocket.One surprise for me is that I wear a 32x30 for the original ROC pants, but for these I needed to downsize to 30x30.So far, they're comfortable, and if they hold up as well as my original ROC pants, I'll be very happy with them.Reducing to 4 stars because after being completely satisfied with a pair of 30x30 in Flax, I ordered a pair of 30x30 in Sage only to discover that they fit quite differently...meaning that they don't fit...they're too small. I still think these are great pants, but the variation in sizing is at least annoying especially when shopping online.

I have purchased Columbia ROC trousers for several years and have been pleased with the fit and the quality. Amazon did not have the regular ROCs, but offered these stretch ROCs. These are very cheaply made. If you are expecting the usual Colombia quality, you will be disappointed. I am sorry I purchased these. They are about a 1/2 size smaller than the regular ROCs. Everything about them is CHEAP. Avoid.

Got this for a trip to Rome since they say Rome is full of pick pockets (not that anyone tried). You can fit an entire fat wallet and a passport inside the pocket so it is quite roomy.I did like this pair more than the pair I bought from Bluffworks primarily because the zipper had a fabric covering over it which protected my hands from constantly chafing against a metal zipper unlike the Bluffworks one. I would also recommend taking the fabric tie on the zipper so that any pick pocket would have a much harder time opening it. It isn't so hard to open and close once you get the hang of it.I also though the rather rougher material would chafe but it was fine even walking 30,000+ steps a day.

I have been looking for these pants since I got my 1st iPhone, many years ago. I don't want to sit on my phone. I wanted stretchy comfortable pants with a phone pocket. I Couldn't find them anywhere until I found these. I bought 3 pairs with the hard to find 35 inch waist. They fit perfectly. Today I'm going to buy another 2 pairs to put back for when these wear out. Seems like every time I find the perfect pair of shoes or pants, they stop making them by the time I get ready to purchase them again. Not this time! I'm going to stock up.

El pantalón es muy cómodo, es de algodón con un poco de elastano, lo que permite moverte libremente. Tiene una bolsa extra del lado derecho con cierre que es práctica para guardar algo sin temor a que se te caiga. La bolsa de la pierna que es "para cuchillo" no sirve de nada pero no afecta. Aún no lo he puesto a prueba en caminatas. La talla sí viene correcta, originalmente pedí una talla más grande por previas experiencias con Columbia y me quedó grande.

Me encantaron estos pantalones, los pedí por la facilidad de que era la única talla y cuando llegaron no fui muy fan, pero una vez que me los puse y lleve de excursión quede encantado con ellos, súper cómodos, resistentes me los lleve a la sierra a 9 grados centígrados y nos cayó lluvia, resistieron Perfecto

Pants are great but try and find a straight fit if you are not a big guy.....if you are heavy and a bit thick in the bum area then classic or relaxed fir is for you- Great pants very nice material

Lo único que no me gustó es que el pantalón es demasiado recto, lo que lo hace ancho en los tobillos. Fuera de eso, muy cómodo y fresco. Espero se comporte bien después de la primera lavada. Si no, dejaré otro comentario.
