I'm very happy with this necklace, and I've already gotten several compliments from strangers.It's as pictured/described. The pendant itself is just under 2" wide and just over 1.5" tall at its tallest point. While it's not hand-crafted perfection (that's what Etsy's for), it's still got some nice detail, and I like the overall curly-limbed design. The piece I received had no noticeable flaws, scratches, or construction issues.The chain itself is quite a bit longer than I actually imagined it would be, so the pendant hangs lower than anticipated. There is no way to adjust the length of the chain naturally, so if you want a shorter necklace you'll need to get creative. I don't mind the pendant hanging so low, but regardless, it would be nice to be able to change it up for different outfits.This was well worth the very low price I paid. I'd recommend this necklace to anyone who'd appreciate an inexpensive, quirky, multi-legged pendant :)

I've been wanting one of these necklaces for a LONG time. I'm so glad I found one for so cheap (with shipping, mine was $5)! The only downside is that it smells like grease, like a mechanic wore it for a day or something. Even after cleaning it, it still smells really bad. Nothing that a few days of airing out can't fix, but just be aware that you might not want to wear it for a day or two when you get it. It's also a lot more bronze in person.. way more yellow-y than in the pictures on here. The length of the necklace is like the first picture, of the girl wearing the strapless dress.. it isn't short, like the girl wearing the jacket.Update: I've had the necklace for around 6 months now, and after wearing it daily, the necklace is still holding up. There is some discoloring in the actual chain, but unlike most cheap necklaces, it doesn't leave my skin green after wearing it. I get a LOT of compliments on it!

I still have this necklace and no tarnishing, no green color on my skin, no chain breaking, it's still absolutely the same as when I first purchased it in 2013. I don't get a lot of wear out of it, since it's so kitschy, but that's also what I love about it. Anytime I wear it I get compliments. I'm really shocked that this necklace has held up as well as it has. I certainly never expected it to! Writing this review reminds me how great the necklace has been through the years.

I just got this necklace in the mail today! I am in love. It is a little smaller than I imagined when I first look at it, but when it's on my chest, it looks like the perfect size.There is no clasp, but the chain is very long and can go right over my head without any issues.The chain is "light" in weight, but the octopus itself has a good weight to it. It doesn't feel "cheap" at all. I can't wait to wear this out!I am pretty used to China's shipping wait, and though this is a little longer than normal, it is to be expected. I never ordered something from China off of Amazon. I ordered it on October 1st. It arrived about ten days before the estimated arrival. So it is still considered fast! I absolutely love it though, and I definitely think it was a bargain and well worth the small price! Get it!

This arrived 2 weeks earlier than they said it would. This is the first cheap alloy necklace I've purchased on Amazon, because at 64 cents, you really can't go wrong. My mom had to double-check this listing when I told her the price because she didn't believe me. I thought you couldn't even ship a piece of paper around the world for that price, but apparently, you can. I'm wearing the necklace now, and so far, the quality seems to be only slightly lower than what Forever 21 offers, but theirs costs 8 times the price. We'll see how it holds up for the next few weeks.Also, the very first picture is inaccurate. The second picture, with lighter gold color and the chain attaching on both sides is correct. Not a bad thing, just something to know. Also, I love it how it's so cheap that they couldn't even put on the annoying metal clip. It just slides over your head.I love the look and feel of it, I just hope that it will last me six weeks or so until my baby sister gives the chain a hard tug.

Right now these necklaces are listed for $.49, I think I paid $.65 or so. Either way that is a ridiculously low price, especially considering the shipping is free. As I paid less than $2 for three of these, I obviously wasn't expecting a nice necklace my mother would approve of. They're cheaply made (and cheaply sold) and will probably turn your collarbone green if you let it touch your bare skin for too long. But they are super cute and I like how long the chain is and you can always give it a coating of clear nail polish to stop the green skin problem.

This necklace is super cute and I cannot wait until the summer to wear it! I know I could wear it now but I live in Michigan and I am always bundled up during winter and no one would see it. Although it is very inexpensive, it is pretty good quality. the only differences between the actual product and the picture are the clasp and the way the chain connects to the pendant. The actual necklace does not have a clasp but it is a very long chain so you really do not need one unless you planned on shortening up the necklace but that would be a super quick fix...and on my necklace the chain connects in two spots...the top two tentacles. Other than that, it is exactly like the picture. Cute necklace, pretty good quality and it arrived two-three weeks before the specified arrival date. I would order from these sellers again!
