I used this tape on my door edges. As can be seen in the photo I start a little above the door handle and go downward. This is thicker, more heavy duty, than the normal US product I use, but it is so far of a higher quality and a better door edge protector. It goes on very easy and can be (slightly) repositioned very easily AT FIRST! After an hour or so you just need to rip off, clean the area and reapply the product. It will adhere that well. It is hardly noticeable outdoors on a sunny day (or any other time) so far. No yellowing or discoloration.

When I bought a new car I was looking for something to protect the doors from scuff marks. My previous car had so many from where my feet would hit the door upon exiting. I was worried when I purchased this that it would do damage to my car but it’s easy to install and easy to remove or adjust as need be. Appearance wise: It blends in because it’s clear so you pretty much forget that it’s there. It doesn’t peel (unless you want to remove it), it has the ideal thickness, and the quality is great. Well worth the investment.

Here are the pros and cons-- Pros: thick, tough, tacking adhesive, clear Cons: hard to cut with scissors, hard to move once placed, inflexible in some directions This is great for straight line applications, but not for 3 dimensional curves. The thickness (a plus for durability) works against trying to shape the product. Think of this more like sheet metal and less like sheet rubber. If you need to move the material, each removal and reapplication loses significant tackiness. Bubbles do work out. Scissors will stick when cutting. Utility knife will work, but you need to work on a slick surface. I put a sacrifice strip on a cutting surface so I could peel the film off without ruing the adhesive.

This is basically a thick tape. I used this on the bottom edge of our campers bedroom door as the bump stop was gouging the door, this stopped that from occurring yet clear. Good stuff.

Worked good for my trucks plastics on the floor board. Sticks great and seems to protect the plastics well.

even using gentle heat this really won't bend much at all. On a very gentle bend it ended up bunching up. I think this is really only for almost straight lines

Great Quality!

This product does not provide a clear see through finish over your car door threshold. It does sick well but it looks ugly and looks like thick tape over the threshold and does not have a clear finish underneath where the adhesive touches the threshold material. I am very disappointed in this product.

Good enough to protect from small scratches. Washed my car after sticking this, and its intact without any damage. Worth the money.

Excellent sealing of the crack on the trunk side panel of my Outlander which was created in a backup hitting the collar.

The length of tap should be more as the price is more. After sticking when you remove the tape it doesn't completely comes out it leaves glue in car body which damage the smoothness of car body paint.

This tape seems tough and durable. However, it does not stretch or conform to curves. This tape would be a 5/5 if it had some stretch to it so that it could be applied to more areas that have curves to them.
