Is this MAGIC?!
This chalk paint is so good, you’ll want to find other projects JUST so you can use this paint some more. LolAlso, the smell was the first thing I noticed. It’s almost like coconut? Idk but it smells SO GOOD. Which makes it more enjoyable to use.

I love this paint!!!! I need to purchase more!!!
I love this paint and love the smell, which eventually will go away. I used this product to paint a cabinet black and along with the contact paper that I also purchased from Amazon, it turned out great!!!

Nice color
Extremely disappointed the product description says zero voc and once I received the can it said 50 voc per liter and that is absolutely not what I was informed I was purchasing

Beautiful, and easy for beginner DIY project!
I have zero artistic talent and am not handy by any means. I recently decided to try my hand at a diy faux fireplace and I bought a mantel surround, but didn’t love the glossy color. I have been looking for a chalk paint that is easy to use, and which would give the surround more of a matte, antiqued look. This paint is phenomenal! I love that it is a one step chalk paint because I’ve never used chalk paint or painted any furniture ever before. I used a foam roller brush for the larger areas, and then some chalk paint brushes for the finer detailing. This is the before of the mantel surround in the house in the glossy black color it came in, and then this is an after in the garage when I was painting it with the Amy Howard black chalk paint color. This is after 1 coat, and it looks beautiful and antiqued already. Highly recommend this paint!

This paint does not stick to Formica as indicated on the can.
After properly preparing the surface and painting it, this product does not adhere to Formica as indicated on the can. I love the paint on wood!

Best Paint!
This is the best paint I've ever used. I used it to paint 2 old end tables, one had been painted white & the other had a brown wood-look veneer. This paint covered both tables so beautifully; now they match! I could've used 1 coat, but I did a 2nd coat just because it was easy & fun to use, the coverage was amazing. I love the black matte color & texture. Modern yet timeless. Similar to Martha Stewart chalk paint. Excellent quality. I love that no primer is needed. Dries quickly, even tho I painted outside in 90% humidity. I used a small cotton roller brush so as to not see brush strokes. I could probably get some $ for these tables if I tried to sell them, but they're so nice now I'll keep 'em! very happy with this product purchase.

Stick with Annie Sloan
Says minimal prep no sanding etc, not true. This paint chips of extremely easily. I usually use Annie Sloan but someone said this was a better black color the Annie’s. It is a beautiful black color, that’s the reason for the 2 stars, but is not by any comparison to Annie Sloan chalk paint. You need to prep/sand your surface otherwise it chips and scratches off easily unlike Annie Sloan. I’m bummed, it’s not cheap and I bought 2 cans, lesson learned. Stick with Annie Sloan.
