RC Cars Light Strips

Love these lights I bought around 75 sets so far and work all the time. Easy adhesive to place on what you need them on so very easy to install. Bright colors too. The lights are bright as well.

Awesome lights, very bright. The strips are pretty long and can be a challenge to install, especially if you have anything smaller that a 1/10 scale. You receive 2 strips and a splitter. I used a single strand for 2 cars. 2 strips would have been way too much for 1 car in my opinion. I have 1 hooked up to a switchable BEC, and the other plugged directly into an aux channel on my receiver. Both worked without issue. I noticed they run pretty hot for an LED, so take steps to make sure they aren't touching any other wires. I'm not sure what the heat tolerance is on smaller cable shrouds, but I couldn't hold my finger to them for more than a couple of seconds. A fun accessory for the price if you enjoy tinkering and bling. I haven't taken either car driving yet, so I can't speak to the durability. The next nice day I'll take them out and see how they hold up and update my review if necessary. Would definitely recommend, 5 stars

Worked perfectly on channel switch powered by receiver. Nice color and pretty bright. Haven’t measured draw but seems to be high for using just one strip. Wreaks havoc on my voltage telemetry giving extremely low false volt readings on 2S and 3S. Also seems to create some kind of electrical noise I see on light bar. All car ops are ok tho. May try a separate power source if it becomes an issue. But 2 strips for six bucks u can’t go wrong.

The light kit is great. It is super bright as well. Once I measured and cut the strip to the proper length I needed it was fine. I made sure to clean the area I was applying the strips to with rubbing alcohol to ensure proper adhesion. As you can see in my picture it is a great bright green. Really highlights the truck.

So I ordered 3 sets of these lights, 1 red, 1 blue and 1 green. The red arrived with the light strips in nice heat shrinking with a seperrate y connector. But the green and blue arrived with no covering and seem much less sturdy then the red color. Which is highly confusing to me since they're all from the same company and models just different colors. So the lack of quality control is concerning and one of the strips (unprotected blue) stopped working when they get wet after running my rc truck after a light rain. I was under the impression these were water proof but I imagine the red color is only since they're the only ones with a cover. So I'm obviously not sure why there's such differences in basically the same product. But the lights are fairly bright and easy to install. UPDATE: their customer service reached out to me and helped satisfy my situation to the point where I can say they have amazing customer service. Just knowing the peace of mind of how firmly they stand behind their sales makes me feel so much better.

Body of RC car glows at night even better than the example pictures. I now have 3 sets on RC cars and it’s so much easier to drive them at night. The only complaint is that the blue adhesive strip protector is terrible initially to remove. Also, if the lights are stuck to body they adhere well but other surfaces the adhesion is poor. Solved this with some flexible glue and run small bead along both sides of led strip. They have not moved since. Great led strips and a good value! I’ll buy more as time goes by.

These LEDs are pretty bright IF you plug them in the right way. Be sure you have. If they are weak, turn the connector around and see if it gets brighter. They are not the best quality, but they do work. You will see varying prices for these on here. Most will even have the same pictures, and some will not. Do not think that these are going to be different from the ones that say "5-7 Volt" instead of "4-6." They are the same and made by the same people. The same colours will even have the same parent barcode on the back. The will not be a straight bar of close LEDs, so if that is what you need, don't get these. What these are decent for is if you just want to have the insides or bottom of something glow brightly.

*Update*- previously left a review but was for a separate item and that was my mistake. This item WAS delivered and works great. I've ordered about 4 sets of these same lights, all different colors, and they all work great. Good lighting, easy to use(plug&play), and take a beating inside my RC cars. Each set comes with a Y-splitter as well. Definitely recommend 💪🏽
