Snazaroo Sparkle Face and Body Paint, 18.8g (0.66-oz) Pot, Sparkle Lilac

The Good:This is a pretty decent white face paint that goes on dry (no more smearing!) and comes off with ordinary water. In terms of comfort and ease of removal, Snazaroo beats all others hands down. I moonlight as a clown, the lack of smearing is a huge boon. Even premium grease or cream based makeups are heavy and demand that you scrub your face with head and shoulders to get it off (a real pain considering it is around your eyes!). That's not a problem with this stuff.The Bad:Getting an even consistent coat with this stuff is very difficult. With regular cream makeup, it takes me only a few minutes. This stuff is highly prone to streaking and doesn't show up as BRILLIANT WHITE. Other colors seem to have less of a problem.If you are new to painting your face, you're going to practice quite a bit before you can get good even coverage. If you are just painting faces, it may not be such a huge problem.

I bought this for my Ursula halloween costume and it was perfect. It took a few coats to get the color just right, but once that was achieved it looked great. It felt extremely light on my face. It didn't feel heavy or cakey or get that dry cracking that some face paint will have after a few hours. It also felt breathable and I didn't feel hot wearing it. I did not notice any excessive rubbing off issues and it lasted for hours with no issue. I was nervous to wash it off given other face paint/makeup I've used in the past, but this came off like a dream. It washed right off with soap and water. I was surprised how easily came off considering how long I wore it. Also, while I did have to apply it for a little bit to get the right color consistency evenly on my face, a little did go a long way and I barely made a dent in my supply. It would be perfect for kids or anyone needing to wear face paint for a longer period of time.

the container is flimsy as other reviewers have mentioned. it's soft plastic, so the shape can distort making it a little tough to put the cap back on. not terrible, just be careful. the product seems OK so far. seems creamier, not as hard or dry, almost as if you left a regular cake or in the heat a bit. so the paint may be a bit gloppy.

Snazaroo makes the best face paint in my opinion. We do a lot of festivals and do full faces. The paint doesn't run, blends beautifully and colors are vibrant if put on properly. I have sensitive skin and have worn it all day with no problem. Washes off with water. Amazon runs sales and I buy it on sale. Paints 100's of faces. I just keep adding colors but if you start out with brown, black, blue, yellow and red you can mix colors to get beautiful colors. It just takes a little time. And a palette.

This year for Halloween my 2 year old begged her dad to be ursula so she could match him with her Ariel costume. I wanted to make it as authentic as possible so I searches for a good purple for the skin coloring. This came out perfectly. There were no cracking and I was able to use it 2 times with lots to spare. It was shipped quickly and I would highly recommend this brand.

I bought this once, it was already open so I tried to exchange it for the same item and the same problem except now I can't return it because I did an exchange the first time.

First off I love snazaroo paints. They are the only brand I have come to use now after trying many. All over colours we have I have no problem rating 5 star but this one the coverage is just not there. I've tried different brushes, sponges and water ratios to no avail. Better off just buying a purple mixing it to the desired lilac and adding sparkle later.

Snazaroo are a brand that can be relied upon, and I wouldn't be without them. The last pot I bought has likely painted hundreds of faces, which is why it isn't worth buying the 18ml pot, as you tend to use this often as a base for designs. It's easily applied, blends well and takes a while to start cracking (if it manages to stay on that long at all after being wiped / smeared off in some way by a child!). Recommended product, good value for money and far superior to the cheaper brands.

This product was used as white face paint for Elizabeth I & did the job perfectly.

I bought this along with the non sparkle purple. This sparkly version was difficult to get to build up on the skin. I did better layering it over the purple. I wasn't impressed to be honest.
