Magpul Hunter X-22 Stock for Ruger 10/22

If you like shooting your 1022 as much as I do, the Magpul stock upgrade is a no brainer. Makes the rifle steadier especially when bench shooting. The stock is fitted exactly for the 1022 action and installs the same as the original. On top of the fact that it works great, it makes your rifle look even cooler! The high cheek rest is a must for shooting with a scope.

Can’t say enough great things. The stock just feels right on the gun. Makes my 10/22 feel like an actual long-gun. It’s got weight and it’s got size. Doesn’t feel cheap. My 10/22 has had a few different configurations and this is by far not only my favorite configuration, but one of if not my favorite gun to shoot. I added the mid size cheek riser and all the spacers to increase LOP. To complete the look and feel I highly recommend a threaded bull barrel, bi-pod and suppressor.

Completely changed the look of my ruger 10/22 and made it look much more slick and comfortable. Also has QD attachments so that i can attach a sling but i think there may be another part necessary in order for the qd to work. I got the cheek riser separately because the original was a bit low and i thought this one came with them but it did not /: But no problem. Very solid and super easy to install

The stock itself both feels great and looks great. I have a Ruger 10/22 Carbine from 2006 that I put into the stock with no issues. The fitment was surprisingly precise and has zero gaps/cracks. I'm very happy with the quality, functionality and feel of the stock itself. The Hunter X-22 has successfully transformed my older Ruger 10/22 into a modern rifle.The only reason I have my review 4/5 stars is because the color is misrepresented entirely. The FDE (Flat Dark Earth) is being represented on both the box and product purchase page as a very tan color. In reality, and by my provided photos, FDE is no where close to what is advertised on the box. I originally thought I was sent a ODG (Olive Drab Green) inside a FDE box so I ordered a replacement. The replacement was also the same off color. By the time the replacement came to me the off color grew on me and I decided to keep it. If you are expecting a true desert tan color such as the box shows then FDE is not going to be your option.

My wife and I teach rifle marksmanship. We each have Ruger 10/22 Rifles set up for ourselves. We each have this stock as it is very easily customized to fit each one of us. It is a vast improvement over other stocks. It works with both normal and bull barrel profiles. It works for taller shooters and shorter shooters. it works really well.
