Mostly for indoor use, but would be fine for checking mail & taking out trash. Have been using for 2 years - still like new.
I paid just under eleven fifty for these & are happy with them. Our disabled adult son lives with us & we moved into a 2 story house. My son wets the bed sometimes and gets urine on his bedding & on himself. We needed a way to get him from his upstairs bedroom down to the downstairs shower while keeping our carpet clean - regardless of what may or may not be on his feet. Slippers were the obvious answer, but most slippers can not be washed frequently. So, we purchased these - 3 pairs, so that if one was in the laundry, he'd still have a pair available. The 3rd pair was simply a back up until we found another solution to our problem, because quite frankly, we didn't think they'd last this long! We've been using the same 3 pairs for 2 years & they show no signs of wear - even though they are laundered frequently. We wash in cold & air dry - they dry fairly quickly. They are flexible & easy to put on - even if you're putting them on someone else. I don't know weather they breath well or not, as I haven't worn them myself. Once we've gotten our son downstairs, he has a wood floor to cross to get into our bathroom which has a tile floor. Even with his mobility issues, he has not slipped or fallen while wearing these on either of those surfaces. I also like that they are not 'floppy' like a lot of slippers are - again that can be a hazard for him (especially on stairs), while these are not. I don't know that anybody else is in our position, but if you are, these slippers solved a problem for us in a safe manner, are washable, & have lasted 2 years. For anyone that's wondering why we don't use incontenance products for our son at night, we do, but he removes them - the washable & the disposable briefs. So, since we can't prevent the mess, we did the next best thing - we purchased this product to keep from spreading the mess. So, while I get tired of washing bedding, @ least I don't have to shampoo carpets :-)For anybody considering these - I would describe these as a bootie, rather than a traditional slipper - definitely not a shoe. As durable as these have been in the laundry, I see no reason why one couldn't wear them to take out their trash or check their mail. I'm thinking of ordering a pair for myself for that very purpose. With no 'sole', I wouldn't wear them like shoes, simply because there would be no real protection if you stepped on a piece of glass in a parking lot or a nail, etc. They are probably a bit more protection than a sock, so for those of you that go outside on your own property barefoot or in socks, I think these would be sufficient for that, but I wouldn't try to mow the yard while wearing them :-) My son wears 7 1/2 to 8 in men's shoes - We ordered the small Nufoot & find them easy to put on him, while not being sloppy or loose while he's wearing it. I wear a 6 1/2 women's shoe & just tried a pair of his Nufoots on (with a thin sock) & it's a great fit. Hope this helps.

Get a larger size
I had to order these twice; I wear a 10 or 10.5 shoe and the Large was definitely not big enough. Amazon was very understanding and I got the XL which seems to fit. I bought these to have as travel slippers and I expect themto suit the bit well: very light, easily foldable and paxkanle, and durable enough to serve the purpose.

Get these if you really want to travel light
To be fair, these booties are not the best idea as everyday slippers. Nor are they especially perfect as beach sandals or locker room flip-flops. There are a lot of things they don't excel at. But when your goal is to travel light (and these days we're not the one who sets that goal, the airlines force it on us) this one pair of booties does a fairly good job at most if not all of the above and more. They've eliminated the need for me to pack the following:1. Bedroom slippers - because who wants to walk around barefoot or even in socks on most hotel room floors?2. Pool/spa shoes - well you don't want to wear your dress shoes when you go to the hotel pool, and they frown on you walking barefoot from the elevator and across the lobby plus you get a lot of funny looks if you try doing that in fuzzy bedroom slippers.3. Beach sandals - barefoot on the beach is fine but getting to the beach is another matter4. Public locker room sandals – yuck, need I say more?5. In-flight slippers - hey, your feet get cold and you don't want to walk barefoot up to the restroomThe first time I wore them for a hotel ice machine run or trip down to the lobby for a candy bar and a newspaper instead of my Mickey Mouse slippers I knew I was in love with these booties. Here’s the biggest news … they weigh less than a pair of socks (3.1 oz for socks vs 2.2 oz for booties). These travel slippers do it all with style and functionality. Especially when worn around water. Although they are non-woven they do breathe somewhat, not enough to consider them as everyday slipper that's not actually as much of an issue if you slip them on over a pair of casual socks like you might do in a hotel room. Unlike another pair of neoprene booties I bought that were too large these fit my feet literally like a glove and they seem to be stylish wherever I wear them. The only downside is their ordering page is one of the worst I've seen. There is no size or color chart, instead for some odd reason they use a completely separate page for each ordering choice and almost bury the size/color info in the text, making it incredibly easy to make a mistake. Inexplicably there is an excellent size chart on the tag attached to the booties that you only get to see after you've already bought and received the item. They also assume you want to start an automatic order to buy a new pair every month which gives an undesirable impression about how long the product lasts (only a month?).I was prepared to give these 4-stars as in “I like it” but after getting used to how comfortable, well-made and versatile they are I would raise it to slightly less than 5-stars taking into consideration their convoluted ordering process.

OK but used to be made better
Just received and have not yet worn them. Tried on, took advice of other buyers...SIZE UP! I'm men's 11, got the XL...perfect fit. These were out of stock for a while. I was a regular wearer. Previously they had a lightweight sole sewn on. Now they don't. Just some plastic looking non slip things that look like they're "melted' (metaphor) into the fabric. No R/L. They're like bags for your feet! Durability unknown. Seem to be just as comfortable. These are pure indoor slippers. No dash to the mailbox. Wear over sox to keep sox clean and feet a little warmer watching TV, hanging in the house, etc. Very lightweight. Almost like no shoe at all.

Hot
I got these because I want something to wear around the house with my hard wood floors, but I live in Florida where it's hot all the time and don't want traditional bedroom slippers cause they are too warm. Unfortunately these things make my feet start sweating immediately, I guess I was expecting something a lot more breathable. The material is like the same as a wetsuit. They are nice and durable though and light. I might keep them in my gym bag for doing things on mats or on leg day for a more natural workout without lift from my sneakers

Great and comfortable
Very compact and comfortable. If you wear them outside life expectancy decreases significantly. Great for traveling

A “Large” is too small for a size 10 foot.
Purchased a “Large” Size chart said good for Mens sizes 8-11.Good idea and concept. Price was okay, product was well made, however the “bootie” is too small to be comfortable on my size 10 feet. I could get them on but they were too tight around my toes. The non slip grips performed well. Size 8 foot should be okay but I would think that a size 9 person might find them a bit snug as well. Other than sizing seemly being off, it’s a decent product.

They can be hot
They are as described but can be hot, and not in a good way. They make my feet sweat and can be difficult to remove. I have size 13 feet and that is the maximum size that they will fit. They have a non-slip tread on the underside that is effective. They are light and easy to pack.

Great but very short lived
These are great booties, great look and fit. I was surprised to see the subscription option on the Amazon purchase page, but now I know why it is there. The booties lasted 2 weeks of very moderate usage on hardwood floors, very disappointing. There are holes in soles of both feet which renders the booties pointless.

Wore through in less then 1 month
I purchased these travel slippers for my husband for Christmas. He has worn them a few times on essential travel trips. In less then 1 month they have worn through in the same spot on both slippers. Poor quality, very comfortable but your feet get hot fast.

Perfect for short distances
I really like the fact that they are truly waterproof. If the ground on which you are walking is level, they are comfortable. Otherwise, you might suffer a bit.
