Solid running and workout shorts - cell phone stays snug on runs
This is my second pair, the first being nearly two years ago. Both have held up nicely except the draw/pull strings of the first - the strings retracted into the shorts on one side after one washing a few months into owning them. I just pulled them completely out. Didn’t need them as the shorts fit well. I wear waist 33 pants and shorts and medium is perfect.I had an iPhone 11 and iPhone 13 and both fit snug inside the cell phone pocket. I’ve run 6 miles at quick pace and the phone stayed in place. I use wireless headphones, so no cords. After several months my phone would slide out of the cell phone pocket while doing sit-ups. I just take the phone out now and set it aside within wireless range for workouts that could invert the cell phone pocket.Anyways, I plan to buy another pair in a different color. Highly recommend these shorts for those looking to keep their cell phone snugly on their person while on runs.

Looks and Feel Goods. Some Complaints
There are so many workout clothes on Amazon. So I bought these and two other shorts because I could not pick one. These were the best of the 3.First thing you notice is the thickness. These pants are thick especially when counting the spandex underneath. They will get sweaty and take some time to dry. Next thing is the tightness. The spandex makes these tighter than it looks and tighter than I was used to.Overall, it's still very comfortable to workout in and does not limit your range of motion. They look pretty solid too, not baggy or skirt-like as other pants I've bought. I washed it once in cold water and it did NOT noticeably shrink or expand. There are 4 pockets including a small zipper one on the right and 1 small one the spandex. The two small ones are good for keys, phones, cards, etc. The other two outside side pockets have wide/loose openings so would not recommend keeping anything there while running.Only three complaints:(1) The zipper pocket on the right hand side has a zipper that gets stuck when zipped all the way up. Recommend zipping up on 3/4 of the way or not at all. It is somewhat deep and nothing should fall out easily. EDIT: This happens on only 1 (black) of the 4 pairs I bought.(2) There is a knot/lump in the top middle on the back side. You only notice it when laying on your back on a mat or floor. Very uncomfortable to do abs workouts in.(3) These are low priced so quality control is not the best. I found some loose threads already after one wash. Don't expect these to last many years of heavy use.Overall, good pants and worth the price imo.

Pretty Good Shorts, Just Not Quite As Advertised
I ordered these as a way to carry my phone on trail runs because I don't like using the elastic arm band-style phone holders I've been using. Overall they do pretty well. Fit as expected and the elastic has performed well so far. But the "inner shorts" are NOT compression shorts. They bag a little bit even though the shorts themselves fit about right. The phone holder works really well. I have an iPhone Xs Max with an Under Armor rubberized case and it fits very snuggly. It does jiggle a bit since those undershorts are loose, but it's not uncomfortable or distracting. There's an access port for wired earbuds that works pretty well too. The thing I like the best is the ZIPPERED key pocket behind the right-side seam that is big enough for a large key fob. The logo on the left leg peeled off after a couple washings but I didn't like it anyway. Overall I'm pretty pleased with these and would order them again.

Picky husband approved
Purchased for my husband to run in. He wanted something with a pocket to hold his phone that it actually holds and these shorts have been working out great. He likes the material which is a bonus because he has such a hard time finding shorts that are both comfortable and practical

They're fine for working out but not quite as described
They're decent shorts but there are better ones out there, I think. The outer shell is soft, they fit well, elastic drawstring waistband. They do the job but a few flaws:* The description claims "compression tights" but that's definitely not the case. They have the stretchy inner short, but its far from "compression". I own other shorts with much tighter inner shorts. For my use case doesn't matter that much, but if you're looking fir "compression" shorts, these are not them.* The inner short is as long, if not longer than the outer. Maybe that's the current style and I just don't get it, but not sure why it needs to be like that. I was expecting the inner short to be a little shorter than the outer so you didn't see it, but that's not the case. The inner short is quite long and while working out will be plainly visible.

Also great for yoga
I'm a avid hot yoga guy. And the room temperature is typically 95 degrees, plus. And I really like these shorts because of that. They maintain a great fit and allow movement, no matter how intense the workout is.

Great for exercising with phone and earphones
These shorts are great! The inner phone pocket is perfect for carrying your phone while running. Even on longer runs, I barely notice that the phone is there and it stays safe and secure. There is also a very convenient opening in the inner lining for earphone wires. If you use earphones with wires, you can thread them through the opening and then bring them under your shirt all the way through the neck opening, which will keep them from falling out of your ears even during vigorous exercise. Very convenient! The only thing to keep in mind is that the fit is a bit snug because of the inner lining, so make sure to double-check the size. I'm 5'8 and 140lbs, and the Medium is a good, snug fit on me. For other brands, I often go for Small, but in this case, I think Small would have been a bit too tight. You also don't want to get something too roomy because then the phone would flop around, which would be uncomfortable.
