*Maybe* you should make sure the item that is supposed to be covered by the protection plan actually gets delivered (or even ships) before you charge for the protection plan. I was charged this right away and then came to find out that my item was out of stock with no planned restock. You might think Amazon or Asurion might reach out and say, "Hey, that item never shipped so we're going to refund your protection plan" but of course no... I know they will refund this when I submit the request but you would think for something that was canceled on their end, they might not force the customer to do the legwork and I'm sure that is by design. I wonder how many people don't ask for that refund so it's just free money for them.

I bought the 2 year protection plan for an e-bike. When I had problems they stood behind their policy and made the repairs. When I had additional problems that couldn’t be fixed in a timely fashion they refunded my money! All of it and in a timely fashion!I got to talk to a real person that actually handled my situation each time. Couldn’t say enough good about Asurian.

There was no problem with the insurer Asurion 2 Year Protection Plan or a 2 Year Sporting Good Plan. We may visit that offer again when we can settle on a decent seller for another golf cart with good reviews. Thanks to the insurers who helped us through this disappointing process. I have requested that all of the funds (toward both purchases) be returned to my account.

The bike is all I expected, but it is missing the basket I paid extra for.

I've purchased Asurion protection for several big items, most recently for an electric bike. I've never had to make a claim. But I did have an incident when I purchase the protection plan for a big ticket item that was lost in shipment. I contacted Asurion to tell them I needed a refund on their plan, as I wasn't getting the item and so didn't need the protection plan. They were very courteous and quickly refunded me. The way they treated me made me feel really good about purchasing protection plans from them in the future.
