Dog collars are very dangerous for any size dog as they can crush the trachea and kill a dog so I only use harnesses on my dogs and these are the nicest fitting, harnesses, and so soft

26 pound mini labradoodle and bought the large. Definitely go by the measurements. This one is so soft. Our dog cannot escape either. We love it.

I will start out with info., that I feel is important, that I always look for, that seems to lack, in many of the reviews. It's great to post pictures of your animal, & say, you just love it!! it looks so cute on them. (& it does), & that you highly recommend. One of the problems is, (we need to know),(we the buyer), what size you ordered? how much does your animal weigh? are they short haired? are they long haired? What breed are they? I feel this saves a lot of time, and confusion, & also how we look so forward to getting our little outfit, only to find out, we have to send it back, because it's too big or too small. So..... I will start off by saying, I have a (6 1/2 lb.), Maltipoo, who is just over a yr old. She has Wore, anywhere, from an x-small, to a medium, depending on the company.This particular harness, (after reading somebody's review), with details,I decided to order the(x-small), even though she usually wears a medium.It fits her perfect. Sometimes her hair is longer, & she may need a small? I just had her groomed a week and a half ago, so her hair is a little shorter. I read a review, that the x-small, fits up to a 9 lb. dog.I would definitely say that this is not true. It is very soft on both sides. I got this one especially for walking, as she seems to be able to get herself out of styles that are not snug. She has a small trachea problem, but this harness does not seem to cause choking.(I got the pink), and it is very pretty. I'm having trouble getting pictures onto Amazon.If I ever am able to do that, I will update my post, with a picture of Tinkerbell, and her new harness.When I first received it, I thought it was defective? The holes where the legs went, did not match, one was round, and one was oval.It was stretchy, so I started stretching it out, and then it looked more even. If this happens to you, just work with it, and give it a stretch, in the arm area.

They are very good value for a harness and did not cost what most harnesses cost and they look so cute. I will purchase more but I will try the small size next time. My dog weights just under 15 pounds and has a chest measurement of 18" so I got the medium but the small will probably fit. I really like the fact that there is velcro closing in addition to the closing latch. I choose this harness because you can pick up your dog with the closing lock when your dog is in danger from other aggressive dogs. This is big plus for me.

I got a size medium for my 3 month old purebred Australian Shepherd (female in case it’s not obvious)It fits very well with some room for growth, she’ll outgrow it but it’s a super reasonable price for a puppy accessory and it seems well made. We’re very happy.Would definitely recommend this product to any puppy owner.

I wanted a soft harness for my pug and this is perfect. It doesn’t rub or irritate and I’ve had it for almost 2 months now and no issues; seems to be well made.
