Good quality lock and great price. Had to have 4 extra keys cut which cost over double what the lock with 3 keys cost. Make sure you take out the old lock and measure it before you purchase your new lock.

I have noticed a few negative reviews on this lock cylinder about the security aspect of it, OK it might be possible for a professional locksmith or burglar to pick or drill through, but the truth is if somebody is determined to break in to your property they will find a way regardless of the locks fitted, so I would say for the average house this lock does what it should do at a very reasonable price.

I have PVC French doors and one lock needed replacing. When we moved in some years ago we paid a smith to change the locks, not knowing any better.This time around I wondered if it was something I could do myself and watched a video on Youtube showing how simple it is! One screw, slide the old lock out, new lock in, same screw used to secure it – literally done in 2 minutes with a cross-head screwdriver!The only thing to be sure of is that you order the right size (so you’ll need a tape measure/ruler too). Not just the overall length but the inside and outside measurements, as many locks are offset, i.e. sticks out more on one side or the other. That’s part of the reason I wanted the lock changed as the smith put one in which was 1cm too short on the outside as that’s all he had at the time!Having measured it properly I now have a lock that fits how I wanted it. Of course, if you’re just swapping a lock new for old, and the fit is correctly, then you can simply remove the old lock, measure the size you need (inside and outside measurements) and buy another with those measurements. Super easy.The lock itself is good, 6-pin tumbler rather than 5 (so it’s harder to pick) the action is smooth (no need to lubricate it) and it's sturdy (doesn’t rattle).…that’ll be £80 please ;)

Bought to replace front & patio doors after a tenant left. Was a little bit wary on taking the old one out then not being able to fit this but I needn’t have worried. So easy to fit - all done within 10 mins. Comes with three keys. Really pleased.
