Would anyone recommend this oil in the D110 or go for Valvoline?!?

The manual shows a chart with expected air temp ranges. Just from memory - 5w30 goes from witches tit to 85 degF. 10w30 goes from around 0F to too frigging hot to mow, 10w40 is good for freezing out to Phoenix in August. I just made the switch to 100% synthetic with 20% lucas and a splash or 2 of seafoam or a few ozs of marvel mystery every other change.. I think the key is to change every 50 and use NO ETHANOL FUEL - you can goog where near you to buy no ethanol gas. Always dump the recommended amount of Stabil or seafoam into ur gas as soon as you get it - or better yet put the fuel stabilizer in the gas can BEFORE hauling off to the local purveyor of petrol. I dont think one has to spend $10 a quart to 10w30 with a green and yellow label. Any good SJ SN SM rated oil on back of oil bottle should do. Just check oil befote start-up each and every time. Oil is pretty much oil if you ask me. Every manufacturer thinks their oil additives are better than every other manufacturer's. Synthetic has shown to last longer than most other forms of oil, but if you are into changing your oil fairly often, conventional oil is cheaper and serves the same purpose. That is the long answer. The short one is yes, 10W30 is 10W30.
