Good pool for the money and I can recommend it
Update 2: The pool made it through a second summer. I should add that Southwest summers are long so we’re talking about 12 months of total use after 2 years. The top ring (the one I stuffed with pool noodles after a cat popped it) has become brittle from the sun. Enough so that it cracks when I push on it. The desert sun is relentless here so I’m not going to remove a star for this. But it prevented me from putting it away in a bag for the winter like I did last year. I left the pool noodles in the ring and rolled it up in a tarp for this winter. Also, the plastic tubes that came with the pump developed leaks this summer, both of them. Sun damage too I’m sure. So, if you’re planning on using this for multiple seasons I would recommend purchasing a couple spares of those as I couldn’t find them at any brick-and-mortar stores in my small town. I had to buy a whole new pump to obtain two since I didn’t want to wait for Amazon’s weeklong Prime shipping. The original pump was still working fine and I have it as a backup. I’m still happy with it after two years. I will update again after year 3.Update: I decided to stuff 4" pool noodles inside the deflated I floatable top ring. See picture. Works perfectly. It took 4 of them. Still very happy with the pool after 1 month.Pros:- This pool is a good buy for the money. I paid about $100 for an 8' pool with a filter and I'm happy. Yes, the filter is small but it's fine.- The filter is easy to clean. Every two or three days I clean it. Lift the pump above the water line, take out the filter, and hose it out. It's mostly dirt that collects in it since I don't have a cover over the pool and I'm in the dusty desert. I plan on changing the filter about once a month. If you use the pool more often your mileage may vary.- There are no leaks. It's only been up for two weeks but the filter and connections have yet to leak a drop. I didn't expect that. And the pool itself hasn't leaked around any seams either. Feels pretty well built.- The filter has a convenient valve on top to let air out of the system when you change the it. Just turn the filter back on after changing it and unscrew the little cap and air releases from the system. There are push button switches on the plug that goes into the wall. 'Test' turns it off, 'Reset' turns it on.- Filter size. The filter pump is fine for the pool's size. In my opinion, there is plenty of water pressure coming out of the return valve, as much as many in-ground pools I've been in. The return pressure is enough to spin my chlorine floater and floating thermometer around the water surface about every 30 seconds. And when I pour shock granules in the water, they float away in the current almost as soon as they dissolve. Some float to the bottom but they are dissolved in 30 seconds or less.- The pool sides are fairly thick material and I think it very unlikely that the neighborhood cats would be able to cause a leak even if they use it as a scratching post, which they haven't yet thankfully.Cons:- The inflatable ring is made of fairly thin material, about as thick as a pool floaty, maybe thinner. The neighborhood cats got up to get a drink and deflated it two days into my setting the pool up. But it doesn't bother me being deflated and I don't plan on patching it just to have them do it again. With two adults in it there isn't any water spilled from the pool. If you have active kids, your mileage may vary. I have thought about cutting the tube open and stuffing it full of pool noodles. Still thinking about that.- The pool came with a patch kit for the top ring. If you don't have thirsty feral desert cats roaming about, feel free to patch your holes. I'm not going to.

Good quality, easy to set up, perfect to lounge in
I am incredibly happy with this pool; I got it just to lounge in to survive the summer heat and it works perfect for that. It is big enough for two adults to sit comfortably in it without feeling crowded; it is just big enough for a inflatable pool float to lounge in, although large floats likely would not fit.I have had the pool up for about 2 months now and it has gone through 2 sever thunder/wind storms with no issues. The pool is good quality so I'm hopeful that it will last me a few seasons. It was incredibly easy to set up, you just inflate the ring on the top and then fill with water. Other then the ring on top, the pool itself does not inflate, so when I first started filling the pool with water I was like, "no way is this right." But as the pool fills, the inflatable ring starts floating and raises the sides of the pool- it took about 20 mins to fill with a garden hose. The filter is not incredibly powerful, but it does its job- I recommend using a floating chlorine dispenser in addition to the filter. As you can see from the picture, I did not put it on a level surface like recommended. And although the pool filled up just fine and I have not had any issues yet, you can see how there is some strain on the uneven surfaces on the bottom. I'm unsure if that is going to ruin the liner in the long run.I've only had the pool for a few months but I really have no complaints at all!

Neat pool for the money.
Size is perfect for my little home made cabana. I wish I had a cover for it to keep bugs and dirt out.

My kids love this pool
Good inexpensive pool. We got it with all of the covid quarantine stuff going on. We have three small children, two of whom had been in swim lessons, and all were now at home. Pool was easy to set up. I got a ground pad to protect the bottom and blew everything off with my leaf blower before putting it down. We have a level paver patio so no other ground prep needed. Laid the pool out and filled just a little bit to make it easier to flatten out the wrinkles. There's a YouTube video showing you how to do it. Then filled the pool with a hose - took a number of hours.Downsides: the pool needs maintenance chemicals like a real pool but probably needs more attention than a large pool bc it's not buffered by size. Also, the model I bought was supposed to have come with pump but the seller did not send the right one. We had to find and purchase a pump on our own, and were fortunate to find one. The pump does not work very well so I manufactured an alternative filter from a pool filter and submergable so pulp and now the pool is almost crystal clear. Also, I don't think the pool is 8' in diameter at the top. Maybe the base. I'm about 6' and can barely fit without touching head or feet when floating. I don't mind though. My boys love it and it has been a godsend with our hot weather.Get one if you can find one!

Epic fail
I was really excited to receive my pool. When it was delivered I set it up as directed. I even put a fence up so my dogs wouldn't puncture it. The mistake I made was filling it. Don't make this mistake. Put only a couple inches of water in your pool and wait awhile to make sure there are no leaks on the bottom of your pool. I had a pretty good leak and couldn't find the hole. I had to empty it (waste of water and money). The seller was great (at first). They had me cut a large piece of the pool off, write a RMA number they gave me on it, and send them a picture for proof. They said the pool did not need to be returned because it was damaged and could not be resold, and they would send me my new pool asap after receiving the picture. I got an email they were proccesing my replacement pool and would receive it soon. An hour later I got an email they were out of stock and I would receive a refund in 2-3 days!!! Now I'm not only out the pool, I'm out the $$ for the water used, my time and other expenses. Not a happy camper.

So far so good
Don’t forget to make sure all seals are tight. I had a small leak from the pump, when I opened it up I saw that the inner seal under the lid wasn’t in tight. Received in the time stated I would. No leaks in the pool, now I just have to wait until it warms up.

Why didn’t we buy this sooner?
Super easy to inflate, durable, looks great. We call this our Pinot Pool: fits four adults comfortably to cool down, sit (water is about shoulder height) and sip a cocktail (or several).

We love it!
It’s a perfect pool for a small backyard and 4 adults can sit nicely in it. It came with a filter but no pump and we just used a air mattress pump to inflate it. Definitely worth the $$$$
