Brighter and More Vibrant Skin
I purchased DMAE from this company for a DIY skin care project and was able to choose another product of my choice from their line for review purposes. I had no idea that I would receive this perk when I made my purchase, but was quite pleased, as you can imagine. HA was on Want List, so I chose it. In all honesty, I was so pleased with the quality of the DMAE that I would gladly have paid for this purchase. I wanted to make a serum to use use both night and day. I did my due diligence and researched Google, YouTube and Pinterest before choosing a recipe. My first sample batch was a fail, because I either did not add enough water (I chose Orange Blossom to tszuj it up a bit) or added too much product. The batch turned out to be more of a thick gel, rather than a serum. I tried applying it in that form and it was not bad at first. However, it started to sort of 'roll up' in some areas. It was evident that the product was too thick. No problem. I kept adding one tablespoon of the Orange Blossom water and placing it in the fridge for 20 minutes or so and stirring. The final perfect recipe for me is 4 tablespoons of COLD water and 1/4 teaspoon of HA powder. Since I planned to keep it in the fridge to extend the life of the product anyway, I did so. In the morning I had an absolute perfect serum. On the upside, my original failed batch proved to me that this truly was a miracle hydration product that would attract moisture to my skin. Application - I purchased a very inexpensive pump container (photo below). One pump dispenses the exact amount of product that I need. After washing my face and using toner, I apply one pump to my face. It is immediately absorbed and leaves zero residue of any sort. You would be fine to wear this alone on a no makeup day and it would not be detected. There is no smell and the product itself is totally clear. Shelf Life - I do not add preservatives to my DIY products, as that would defeat part of the purpose of making my own. I will use vitamin E as a natural preservative to many products, but did not want to add it it to this one. I already use it in my primer and facial setting and refresher sprays. I don't want to look like an oil slick by day's end. This recipe made a small batch, but I still think this will be too much product for two week's use. I may cut the recipe in half next time. Packaging - The packaging is well sealed and its quality assures me that the product itself is of high quality and has not been exposed in packing or shipping. It is clearly labels with supplement facts, warnings, measurements, ingredients, expiration and manufactured dates, storage suggestion and lot number in case of a recall. I really can't think of anything more that I could require or want from a product. This 10 gram (0.35 ounce) packet will last me a very long time. The expiration date is a year away. I may have to incorporate it into my eye creams in order to not waste any due to the expiration date. That is a good problem to have. Who does not want more moisture in their eye area. This is a definite annual repeat purchase. The photo below is untouched and makeup free after a week of twice daily use. As a caveat, I am 57. This should be considered before making any snap judgements about whether my skin looks radiant or healthy in general. UPDATE - I was so pleased with the results of my skin that I started using this in conjunction with DMAE in my under eye and on the outer corners, with the intent of bringing additional moisture to this area. The third photo below is after three weeks of using this product twice a day. May 12, 2017 I am down to my last small batch and am online to purchase my first refill, as I tried going three days without it and was displeased. My 5 star rating remains true. Recipe and Tip: Always use very cold water to make (I use refrigerated distilled water that I have previously added a couple of drops of Esential Orange Oil to). A wide mouth flatter container is preferred, ergo an empty eye cream jar. I say this because I find the product mixes much easier if you evenly sprinkle the powder over the entire surface of the cold water. Also, do NOT stir until the product has had a chance to mix on its own in the fridge. I leave mine in the fridge over night and continue to store it in this way. I found stirring when initially mixed the two ingredients together caused the product to get lumpy on some areas. I used a chop stick to stir/beat the lumps out. It is a royal pain, but a great arm work out. **Add water to container first. 2 tablespoons of COLD water + 1/4 teaspoon of H/A powder. You can double for more product, but I prefer smaller batches to maintain freshness and efficacy. Note, I also add my Vitamin C serum and a couple drops of Rosehip oil to a small amount of this mixture into the palm of my hand, mix with my finger and then apply. If you are using alone, you may prefer more or less water. This works perfect for me and does not affect my makeup application, including foundation. If it sort of rolls up on your skin, you need to add more water and place in the fridge for a bit before re-stirring. **Photo #4 was taken May 21, 2017, after 13 months of daily night time use.

AWESOME!!!
There is some incorrect information in a few of these reviews. To clarify.... the manufacturer says that this is a low molecular weight form of hyuloronic acid. Which makes sense as right on the front packaging.... it is called sodium hyaluronate, which is known as a lower molecular weight hyaluronic acid. The lower the weight.... the deeper the penetration into the skin.... the higher the weight, the more superficial the effects. "And depending on the molecular weight, the effect on the skin varies as well. Such that, hyaluronic acid with low molecular weight (LMW-HA), also known as sodium hyaluronate, easily absorbs and penetrates the deepest layers of your skin. This means low molecular weight Hyaluronic acid (LMW-HA) provides intense moisture and sustained hydration deep in the skin. The effect of sodium hyaluronate can plump the skin and reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. As the hyaluronic acid molecule gets bigger and the molecular weight higher, hyaluronic acid thus remains closer to the surface of the human skin. A high molecular weight Hyaluronic acid (HMW-HA) delivers the most visible results, but with a shorter life-span. And, the results can be washed away with a simple face cleansing." I also found at least one study showing that a lower molecular weight hyaluronic acid showed a statistically significant improvement in knee joint pain. I am no doctor... so I can't really recommend anything, but... What I can say, from my own personal experience... that it has done for me, after taking 1/8 tsp twice a day for about 3 weeks (dissolved in 1/4 cup water moving quickly with a small wisk as I very ... very slowly sprinkle it in and then drink it.... I feel like a new person... any joint pain is for all intents and purposes, gone.... my dry eyes are dramatically improved.... my acid reflux is basically gone! I'm not sure about my skin yet... it's only been about 3 weeks (the main study I reviewed showed results after 12 weeks) but I couldn't be happier... I am thrilled!

A true *MUST HAVE* for skin and joint health!
I use this product both orally and topically. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is glycosaminoglycan, and is already present in our connective tissues with it's primary function being the retaining of moisture. Understanding this, you can easily see how it both plumps the surface of the skin by absorbing moisture from the air and literally pushing wrinkles out or plumping them from underneath. Hyaluronic acid also plays a major roll in the health of our joints as it keeps them lubricated and moving smoothly. * Skin Benefits: Having previously sold physician-grade skincare and anti-wrinkle treatments, I learned a great deal about which active ingredients do what and how. Using a simple HA serum daily will let you see visible, sometimes instant results, depending on how dehydrated your skin may be already. Another key advantage to a pure HA serum is that since our eyeballs are primarily made of Hyaluronic acid, even those with sensitivities to skincare products being too near to the delicate eye area, are not likely to have negative reactions! * Joint Benefits: One of the most well-known benefits of Hyaluronic acid is for its joint pain relief. The aging process depletes our bodies of hyaluronic acid by as much as 50% so replacement is key in both skin and joint wellness. Smoking, as well as numerous other factors, put you at extra high risk for accelerated loss of HA. Boosting our intake and absorption of this vital ingredient is not just important, it's critical! When we think of joint health, most of us think knees and hips. While these are certainly helped with the lubricating benefits of HA, remember too that joints encompasses everything from your back to your shoulders, wrists, fingers and toes - All of your moving joints! The good news is that topical and oral supplementation can prevent or even reverse so much of this depletion process. * How it works: Hyaluronic acid is a humectant that absorbs and holds water to an incredible degree. In fact, the hyaluronic acid molecule can actually attract and retain more than 1,000 times their weight in water!!! This is crucial in maintaining the fluids that surround each of our joints, as it binds to water to create a thick, gelatinous fluid that lubricates and protects cartilage. These protective, moisture-rich fluids, along with cartilage, act as our natural shock absorbers to help joints endure the wear and tear of strenuous activity when we are young and even the most basic movement as we age. When we are dealing with issues such as arthritis, HA levels become extremely low, these lubricating fluids become low enough to actually takes away the spongy characteristic of cartilage, causing pain with movement. DIY Hyaluronic Acid Serum for topical application: 1/4 cup Distilled water 1/8 tsp. Hyaluronic Acid 1/8 tsp. Leucidal Liquid SF, Natural Preservative Ingredient for Homemade Hyaluronic Acid Serums and Other Cosmetics, 1 oz. Spray or Dropper Bottle (I use 6 Pack- 2 Oz - Cobalt Blue Boston Round Glass Bottle With Fine Mist Spray Nozzle 60 ML - For Hydrosol, Cosmetics, Medicine, Kitchen, Bathroom, Oils, Perfume, Lab, Travel. - Re-Usable -By Katzco ) ~ (For oral consumption, leave out the preservative but keep refrigerated. Add by the dropper full to your favorite smoothie) * Bottom Line: We all NEED and OWE it to our connective tissues to replenish our bodies and our largest organ (our skin) with this vital nutrient. I personally recommend and trust the high quality of the Bulk Supplements brand for this and several other supplements I purchase from them regularly such as BulkSupplements Pure Potassium Citrate Powder (1 Kilogram) and BulkSupplements CLEAN Whey Protein Powder (1 Kilogram) .

Good product
It's hard to write this review because I'm not very consistent with taking HA. I've had the same packet for years and it's still holding up well. No growth, odor, clumps, nothing. I've noticed no side effects to it and no taste. It DOES obviously have a texture (if you're familiar with HA products), and if you don't like a slimy texture, then make sure you blend it super well in enough water to avoid it. I've mostly used room temperature or cool/cold water, but haven't tried to blend it with hot. I haven't noticed any major benefits for pain relief or joint health yet, but it's at least easy to use.

Great for making serums
This is perfect. I mainly use this to make my own hyaluronic serum. I put some in distilled water and put it in the fridge overnight. I use it all over my face, body, and hair. It’s one of my secrets to plump dewy skin. It’s fragrance free, and tasteless if you are drinking it. It’s a great price for the amount you get.

Size Matters!!
Size does matter in your hyaluronic acid supplements!! First off they do not say what the molecular weight of this product is in the description. Reputable dealers should always note this so you can be an informed consumer and make purchases that suit your needs. High molecular weight is not good for topical or internal applications in the same way that the high molecular weight is. They clearly do not list a use as external or provide recipes for making face serums. When you verify the reviews on fakespot you can see that they get a score of F as many people both write only positive reviews for free product and others write in multiple great reviews for this company only! When you try to find weight in the answers section of this product it states: "Purity for the Hyaluronic acid is 97.60% The molecular weight will vary between 0.8 - 1.5 dK. This is LOW molecular weight." It is actually is more important to have high molecular weight for joint pain as well!! Doctors use high molecular weight to inject for joint pain and research will show you this is true. This is supremely important if you are buying this supplement to know what he molecular weight is!!! If I were you I would NOT buy it from this supplier unless they change their ways and start selling what actually works for people who want and/or need this supplement! Why does it matter you ask There is abundant experimental evidence from the human physiology and biochemistry literature to support the basic notion that LMW-HA is inflammatory, pro-fibrotic, and associated with adult scarring phenotypes rather than scar-free truly regenerative healing. HMW-HA is what you want in an any aesthetic procedure, wound healing, joint use, or just for topical use. The type of collagen produced to regenerate skin is affected by the relative presence of HMW vs LMW HA. A fine reticular pattern is produced in the non-inflammatory environment of HMS-HA, whereas a more disorganized pattern is seen when HA fragments abound. This suggests that LMW-HA in melanoma might promote tumor invasiveness by inducing MMP- and cytokine-expression. SO please do your homework unlike me who did it AFTER I purchased and regretted it!

Looking good
I apologize to Bulk Supplements for not hitting the 14 day target for leaving a review for my free sample of HA. However, I can speak about results, now, and earlier I didn't have much to say. After reading 'recipes' all over the Internet, I came up with a solution that works for me. After using HA alone, internally and topically, for a little less than a month, I can say that my skin has improved. Broken capillaries on my face have reduced to the point that my make-up covers the redness without adding a concealer first. Wrinkles are less visible, including rather deeper ones around my lips and dimples. (Dimples are cute when you're young; not so much in the over 50 age range.) I placed 12 oz. distilled water in a clean 16 oz. plastic water bottle. I placed the bottle in the freezer. Once it started to really freeze but still had liquid in it, I added one level teaspoon of HA to the water using a small funnel. I capped the bottle and shook the bottle vigorously. Then, I placed it in the fridge and shook it from time to time until I went to bed. The solution had finished thawing and thickened overnight. I drink 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon of the liquid mixed in a smoothie or orange juice in the morning. I use the same solution on my face and neck morning and evening. Lately, when I run into my friends, they say I look good! I wasn't hearing this before I started using HA. I have added DMAE (1 tsp.) with HA to the last solution I mixed up for topical use. DMAE has to go into the bottle before you add the water. Adding DMAE has made my pores look smaller and has tightened my skin after a week of use. However, I still use HA solution only for internal purposes, and I stir a scant 1/8 t. of DMAE into the smoothie or juice. This works well for me and is easy to do! I am not a physician, scientist, nor even a paraprofessional in any of those areas. Use the home made recipe I mentioned at your own risk.

Doesn’t mix
This would be better in a capsule, doesn’t mix with anything and sticks to spoon, teeth, roof of mouth. Can’t say I’m ingesting it really at all!!
