I have a lot of years of experience with the original Ace hard rubber barber combs… I've been using them for decades. And I know from that experience what they should be like… which explains why I always bought Ace barber combs. These look like the real thing, except of course that they aren't hard rubber (that didn't concern me because there probably are now poly compounds equal to or better than hard rubber). I also put what's left of my last good Ace barber comb's teeth point to point with the new ones, and I'd say the current manufacturer is even using the same molds; the tooth points largely match over the entire length of the current product… and they otherwise have the same dimensions. But in spite of appearances, the current manufacturing process imposes one serious, differentiating flaw: The fine teeth should be of equal diameter from point to spine, making the distance between teeth the same at both ends of every tooth; but they are instead tapered and are too close at the spine. And, because they are too tight at the spine, they tend to grab hair. They also will probably get dirty faster and be harder to clean for the same reason. So I'm disappointed with the ultimate quality associated with the current manufacturing of the comb. I only unpackaged and used one comb, but once I understood the problem… a visual inspecting easily confirmed consistency. Short of finding an easy way to rework the fine teeth to improve on them (to open the tooth gaps at the spine), I probably won't keep the combs. I was hoping this shipment of six would take care of me for the rest of my life, based on my expectations of something bearing the "Ace" name, so I'm disappointed that my strategy failed. But I still have my old 'original' Ace (minus a few teeth as they got brittle with age… like me), and I'll take even better care of it in the future.

I'm surprised at the negative reviews on these combs because they are not the old "hard rubber" construction. Those reviewers are really living in the past. I, too, have used these combs for many years and these are as good or better than any of the antique models they may be referring to. A six pack of these should last you a lifetime.

I am SO glad I purchased this bundle! Everything came packed neatly and in its original wrapping. There are a few items I may not use, but having them available is nice. The case fits perfectly, the borders/frames are colorful and the different lenses provide photo-taking options! I definitely recommend this product for anyone looking to add some style and color to their Instax camera and photos!

I gifted this set to my niece. We loved all the neat items that came with it. The only thing we had an issue with were the stickers, they did not fit in the places as described in the instructions so we had to cut and place them other places. Other then that it is Well worth the money!!

The Ace combs are a standard, quality product that anyone with hair would want to have one. This packaging offers six for about the price of two of the same comb. I like to have one in my travel kit, but I also like one in each bathroom, so this did the trick with some combs left for spares and for my wife.

I got everything in the description and they were all pretty good quality. The only down side was that the camera cade was a little too snug so we had to make a slight modification. Overall good buy.

We have been looking for long time for these combs in the grocery store, and for some reason, they never carry this style. So we were very happy that the combs are exactly what we wanted.I don't know about the original hard rubber material mentioned in some reviews; these combs are plastic, but seem sturdy enough. So far, we are very satisfied.
