Angel Wisdom Tarot: A 78-Card Deck and Guidebook Review: Almost everything you need to know before your purchase - First I will say that this review is long because I wish I’d known what I’m going to tell you before I bought these. Had I known, I would have waited until I had the time to really dive into and study these cards. If you know all the Angels and you are fairly versed in tarot, I think you will enjoy these very much. If you’d like to know the Angels and you are working to identify with your tarot, you’ll enjoy these. They are color coded by suits and Major Arcana, which can be helpful I suppose because these cards are not immediately obvious to be one suit or another. The Major Arcana has the name at the top of each card which doesn’t follow the Rider Waite deck if that is what you are used to. It does give you the number in the bottom right corner so, if you know the number of the cards in the Major Arcana, you’ll not have problems figuring out which card is which. For instance The Fool is called The Dreamer in this deck. Also, in the bottom left corner are some letters that represent the Angel for that card. Not all cards are different like that, but several are. In the Minor Arcana, there aren’t necessarily Cups on all the cards of that suit. What they do have in the upper right corner is a symbol that tells you it is water which is the element associated with cups. The same with all 4 suites, just look in the right upper corner for the element and as I said, they are color coded by suits. The guidebook gives you all the information you need about which letters represent which Angel that is meant for the cards in the Major Arcana. The guidebook also gives you the Celtic spread and in detail, which each placement means. It’s a very thorough book almost as if it is required reading which Valentine alludes to in the guidebook. These cards are not hard for me to handle, but they are larger than many decks. They are matte and yet very slick which makes them a bit difficult to do certain shuffles. They are actually beautiful cards that can be read intuitively quite easily and it is suggested in the guidebook that you use intuition along with the book. That’s how far I got before I realized this is a deck to be studied as if you were taking a course. As I said at the first of this, I wish I’d known the information I’ve given you. I hope it helps you make a informed decision about this deck. I do not mean in any way to say not to get this wonderful deck! Just know that the author has a certain way he sees this deck to be read. I, for one, think when an author is this detailed about his/her deck, they’ve been touched by Spirit to know how it should be read. I hope I’ve helped. Review: Love love love! Best tarot deck ever. - I own close to 10 decks and this is by far my favorite. It's not frilly and shiny. The cards are matte and smooth. I am confused by the reviews that say this is low-quality. It's much higher quality than other Radleigh Valentine decks I've seen, and most other decks in general. The card stock is thicker, easy to shuffle, and beautifully printed. The imagery is rich, symbolic, high vibration, often modern, and beautiful. It resonates with the true meaning of the card. Some of the pip cards have a major arcana association ("wisdom card") which is great for advice or understanding the deeper meaning in a reading. This is by far my favorite tarot deck that I own. I'm so happy to see a deck that represents people of multiple races in a way that doesn't tokenize them. I only wish there was a mini version since my hands are quite small and I have to shuffle in batches.

Uplifting and a joy to use
Absolutely beautiful deck. The artwork is stunning and uplifting, and the messages are meaningful and really apply to life. I am a big fan of Radleigh's. There's no one quite like him in the spiritual and divination world, even among angel folks. This is my favorite of his decks.

Great! Love them!
I love these cards, and they're helping me view Tarot-card interpretations in a broader and more nuanced way. What's not to love about that? I love how each minor Arcana card is linked to a card from the major Arcana. If both cards are drawn in the same reading, that gives a level of credibility to the meaning. It's probably asking too much, but I'd love for these cards to have reversals. With the unique takes on interpretations, I'd love to hear what the creators of these cards ascribe to the reversed meanings. Also, the backing of the cards isn't mirrored, so if I were to "reverse shuffle", I'd know if a card was reversed or not. Also, there's some minor misprinting on the cards' backs that changes the shades of brown and indicates which card I'm looking at. It's not a huge deal, and I still love the cards. Cards can always be drawn with eyes closed. And really, what am I looking for, the world's most perfect deck? These cards are great!! I love how they have the main interpretation written on each card, and I love how there's more info in the booklet. One feature in the booklet is alternative meanings, which often speak to my situation in a way that the traditional meanings doesn't reach. There's a lot to appreciate here! Four to five stars all around!

Don't hesitate...buy this gorgeous intuitive tarot deck!!
I do love and own all Radleigh's decks and books but I will admit I wasn't sure about this one. I wasn't sure I would like the modern twist because I loved the romantic fantasy styles of previous decks. Boy was I wrong!!!! The deck is chock full of symbolism....layers of it and cards are woven to relate to each other and advance an intuitive narrative ....well, you have to work with them to appreciate the depth presented. The matte finish...also a big change and I enjoy the feel very much. I use feel as part of my card reading so this is important that they physically feel right. My concerns were unfounded. Radleigh and his artist have managed a unique and insightful deck that takes beginners by the hand and allows detailed readings with intuition. Experts will love all the symbolism not only on each card but the advancing story through the deck. Note the symbols on the card corners for more guidance...yup they're amazing!!! Get them now!!!

GREAT DECK RUINED BY CHEMICAL VAPORS!
Spectacular deck! Beautiful imagery; generous, detailed book. The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars is: The card stock is literally cardboard-ish. The cards & book have the most HORRIBLE physically aggravating, noxious chemical smell!!! I had to spray the box, cards & book.... hoping it will eventually diminish the assaulting chemical vapors! (Be careful not to breathe in these vapors for too long). I'm having a reaction to the chemical vapors on the cards & the book! And the smell clings to hands as well!!! The publishers should cease & desist use of the chemical compounds used to print the cards & book! Second..... The author claims to offer a gift for purchasing the deck...... It's a marketing gimmick to get your email account for marketing promotionals. The "free gift" is an expired angel tarot course that was conducted last year & no longer applicable. Amazon responded immediately!!! Sent me a mailing label to return the defective deck & made an immediate refund so I could order a replacement swiftly! Thank God, the replacement (of the same deck) doesn't have that awful, noxious chemical smell. Thanks Amazon, for responding so swiftly. Great customer service response!

Great for sensitive people
Why didn't I give 5 stars? The cards are great for those who are sensitive to pictures, negative words, or abusive speech. They give you advice with love and kindness. Also, the pictures have a lot of meanings and additional interpretation.. But the cards lack quality, as they are very weak and unstable on the surface. I hope to reprint a more powerful surface. Thank you

Absolutely Gorgeous Tarot Deck
This deck is absolutely gorgeous. The illustrations by Dan Craig have amazing color, depth, and composition. They are so rich in diversity and have exquisite facial expression detail. Oh, my goodness, I love The Magician card illustration showcasing Archangel Raziel. I wish that Radleigh Valentine will come up with an Angel Wisdom Tarot calendar. Hint, hint. 😊 Radleigh Valentine has developed the cards for ease of use and practical application. Each card includes guidewords to help understand the meaning of the card. Even better, he has incorporated an easy to follow and innovative system that matches each Minor Arcana card with an Archangel and a Major Arcana card for added guidance and assistance; making it a great Tarot deck for beginners. I wish I had a deck like this when I started. Radleigh Valentine has really outdone himself with the Angel Wisdom Tarot deck. He has set the bar very high for new tarot decks to follow.
