Best anchor I’ve seen so far!!!
I have to say this is the best investment I have made for my boat so far. This is my second season with this anchor and I couldn’t be happier. I have a 27 foot tri-tune and this anchor holds in all water conditions I have experience so far. All you have to do is drop off the boat and that sets itself. It is also very easy to release it when it is time to pull the anchor up. I have yet to have an issue retrieving the anchor

An Anchor that works
This is my second Richter Anchor of this size. Had it for 16 years and wore it out. Worth the $$ and does an excellent job.

Sturdy well made anchor.
My boat was crawling with my old anchor when the lake was busy and the waves got bad. I decided to give this anchor a try and have been impressed with the results. I have used it 5 times now and I have had no problems. It even passed the 4th of July test which is one of the busiest weekends on the lake and my boat didn't move. Mostly I use this in little coves for our lunch breaks between skiing and my only concern is that the arms might get caught on some of the trees on the bottom.

Anchor
From everything I have read this anchor holds better than any other river anchor, Just one look at it and you will see why. I did not realize how large the side ring loop would be. I wrote several electric winch makers to see it this thing will seat in the davit and no one will confirm yes. I found one Amazon rating where a man said he uses it on his pontoon boat. I just took a chance and ordered a winch. My thougs are I may have to have a machine shop alter the davit for me. This thing is big. If you don't want your boat to move, this is for you.

Best anchor used so far
Worked perfectly!!! It held 22' Pontoon in moderate current and when it got stuck just tied off rope and drove boat up current and it came loose every time. Definitely will buy another one.

easy to pick up and move around
Really holds ... easy to pick up and move around. Have used it for a beach anchor so far to hold pontoon boat. 25# weight works well for what I do and I think it would be an excellent river anchor.
