Berkshire Life 112 by 92 inch King Size Gray Ultra Plush Blanket 10,000 + sq inches

I routinely buy micro fleece, plush bed blankets because they all seem to fall apart or begin pilling after a few months . This blanket is awesome! It's very well made, the color is gorgeous. It is very soft and warm and it doesn't shed all over my bedding the way many of these blankets tend to do. I've washed it several times and it is still lofty and ultra soft.

I am disappointed with this item from Berkshire. The blanket which is supposed to be new had lots of fuzz on it. when I tried to smooth out the material by hand to see its quality I could see areas where the material seemed to have 'gouges' in it. This was just a small area about one foot square. You can just imagine how the blanket would look when washed and spread on the bed. The sheen seemed inconsistent as well,looking brownish where it should be grey or 'silvery'. This was after trying to smooth out the material in one direction.The flip side of the blanket seemed to look like a dirty rug that needed to be vacuumed it was disgusting to watch at considering it was new. I bought a king size for my queen size bed and when it was on the bed the overhang did not cover the "squirting" board that runs from head to foot of the bed.I couldn't tell if it was washed and it shrunk or if I had the wrong size even though it said king. Overall, to me this seems to be poor quality material as well as poor quality control.

This blanket is incredibly soft, as everyone has said, but mine has been shedding like crazy since I washed it. There is fluffy grey fuzz all over the place. It stayed incredibly soft after washing and I tried putting it through the drier (on no heat) numerous times to help pull the loose fuzz off, but it just keeps coming.

We currently have Berkshire Bedding brand blankets and pillows from BBB and we adore them. So to find these by Berkshire Life that look and feel the same with very similar labels (maybe same company?) at a popular unionized warehouse store for less than twenty bucks for a king was worth snapping up several. Haven't washed them yet so don't know how they'll hold up but I'm hopeful they will perform as well as our Berkshire Bedding from BBB.

Came from China I think and took awhile to get here but was in the lower end of the range that they estimated. This blanket is very plush, soft and doesn't have a sheen like some plus blankets have. There is no odor and I don't plan to wash it before I use it tonight!!! The washing/drying is always the point where people seem to like or not like these blankets. I have one that I've washed before and didn't really have any trouble with it shedding in the washer or dryer more than any fluffy item. I don't know what brand that one was however. I like that this is oversized compared to many king blankets and will overhand the sides of the mattress well. I will update if there are problems after washing.

Beautiful blanket. Big, soft and cozy. I purchased this for my daughter and her husband for Christmas. They just redid their bedroom and was a great addition! They loved it, but who wouldn't.

Love this blanket. Warm and good looking. Also size of the blanket is more than ample. Best buy yet.

Bought 6 of these for all the beds. Very very soft and silky to the touch. Very very warm blanket. Not for hot summer nights. Each recipient commented how light yet warm the blanket feels.
