Absolutely worth spending the extra money on this purse hook! It's super sturdy, it holds I think 33lbs! So far so good for me, haven't had any issues with it holding my bag. Can store inside the bad or on outside as it doesn't just open, you need a little force to open the clip, which is good. It's also very nice / high quality looking.

So I have ordered three of these since I first found them. Originally I ordered one to see what it was like, and the clip feels strong and well made. The two ends that open up have very nice high friction silicone rubber on the end so that it will not slide off of surfaces. I ended up losing the first one so I reordered two more. I really like the construction and tightness of the hinge mechanism. It definitely takes a little effort to open so I'm comfortable leaving it on a loop on my bag and not worried that it will fall off or open on its own. I definitely recommend these as bag holders.I have about a 20 lb backpack filled with school books, laptop, pens, pencils and the like. The Clipa2 easily holds it on the end of my desk or hooked to a rack at work. For my backpack at home I cannot put it on my desk as it has a flush desktop with a hard 90° edge with no overhanging lip. I do have the ability to clip it on there, however because the bottom of the edges are silicone and the tips are not, I'm afraid it will scratch the top of my desk because of the flush hard 90° side of my desk. That may be because my bag is too heavy for that type of desk. But any desk that has a lip or a slight overhang these work really well.I would recommend the Clipa2 for just about any bag, purse, or items you want to carry. I've even used it to hang my umbrella that happens to have a hole in it that this can fit through. I would definitely take this when I travel, as I have used it on the bathroom stalls at school to hang the bag so I don't have to set it on the floor. I can see this working in airports and or hotels, it's a very simple solution for many different problems. I could even imagine using it somehow in the kitchen to hang dish towels, pots, pans, etc.I have tried a few different bag clips & this one by far as my favorite. While the other clips I have tried do work, most of them do not have a friction silicone rubber pad to keep the clip and your bag from sliding off of a surface. Some clips have a metal hook others have a hard plastic nub on the hook, but only Clipa2 have these malleable friction silicone ends. The best part is the simplistic design as it has a simple spring like hinge on the one side, and strong ends on the other.My only criticism of the Clipa2 silicone pads do not wrap around the tips of the clip. If the silicone somehow wrapped around the tip I'm fairly certain I could clip it onto desks where the side and top make a hard 90° angle without a lip. I do have to pay attention to whether or not the tip is going to slide against and subsequently damage the surface I am clipping it to. With just about everything however, this is not a big problem.

Didn't know I needed this, but within a day or two of receiving my order, I was already using it.It is surprisingly easy to use; just open the circle, loop your purse handles inside, and hang the edge of the circle on a table/over a bathroom door. There is rubber on it that provides friction and keeps your bag up. And it's strong! I'm known for carrying a relatively heavy purse (10+ pounds - and yes, it's bad for posture), but it has held my purse with absolutely no problem. I didn't measure how long I had my purse on the hook, but rest assured, it will hold your bag for quite a while. It seems to be quite a sturdy and durable ring, and worth every penny.Overall I'm very pleased. The gold matches my purse perfectly and it looks very stylish. I want to buy one of these for everyone I know that carries a purse or bag with them. Gone are the days of me fearfully holding my purse in bathrooms and restaurants and hospitals to avoid setting it on the nasty floor!

I love that this works, I've had other purse hooks that were quite challenged. This holds the purse on the table well. However, I purchased it specifically because some YouTube influencer said she was able to clip this on her purse handle and it wouldn't fall off, which made it very convenient to use without digging in her purse for it. Mine did fall off, luckily in my home so I saw it laying on the floor and put it inside the purse instead of hanging it on the handle. Because of this, I tried one of the carabiner style purse hangers, and that one wouldn't hang on the table very well, so I will stick with the Clipa. I just wish I could safely clip it onto my purse handle instead of digging around in my purse for it.
