I’ve used the felt bottom sticky things forever and since we have a white dog that sheds, they constantly had to be cleaned or replaced. I tried the silicone covers but they also have the felt on the bottoms. This wasn’t as bad but they seemed to scratch the floor and not slide easily. Decided to try these socks. They fit square or round legs and can be removed easily and machine washed. Chairs still slide easily.

I was looking for leg covers to protect my rattan chairs from the vacuum cleaner. Since the chairs are a very odd shape I was skeptical about how these would fit. When I took them out of the package they looked like baby socks. They do stretch! My chairs need at least 5 to 6 inches of cover and these fit great. Not too tough to get them on. The tan matches rattan very well.

These chair socks last a long time and don’t come off easily. I have them on engineered wood floors.

I bought a set similar to this one in 2018 and have only just replaced them now in June 2023 with this set. After a few years they got stretched out and would fall off easily, but for most of that timespan, they were great! I tried to find silicone chair leg protectors that would work to see if they'd last even longer, but I couldn't find any that actually fit 2" chair legs. No issue with these!

Our little ones drag their chairs across hardwood floors to build busses, planes, and trains. I added these simple floor protectors to prevent scratched floors and they're working as planned.

The one iffy part is the seam at the bottom, it is literally like a seam you see on the toe of the a sock. So it takes a bit of “smooshing” to get it flat on the leg bottom. It stopped the noise from moving the chairs on our ceramic tile floor. But with the seam being the part that is sliding on the floor, it was a weird fit at first and I worry about the west and tear at the seam. But they did the job so we kept them.
