Duncan Toys Strix Yo-Yo [Gray], Unresponsive Pro Level Yo-Yo, Concave Bearing

Very happy with the product. Plays fast. Feels light in the hand and on the string. The only bad things are that the bearing was not a great one, and it wore out within 3 days of excessive play with no lube. The other thing is that if you put too much lube in the yoyo, the o- rings will expand and will be trashed. I had to buy a completely new bearing and a new set of o-rings from yoyofactory. But all that criticism goes far away when you first throw it again. I have always loved yoyos, but this one is one of the greats, and especially the price. Of you are not sold on this yet, I also recommend the yoyofactory popstar. Overall, great piece of engineering, but try to not wear it out.

The Yo-Yo itself is high quality, however I got it used and when it came it was missing the ball bearing on the inside, which is important for its functionality. It was also quite troublesome to find the size bearing this particular yo-yo uses (size c). Eventually I figured it out, but it was an expensive fix and one should have come with the yo-yo in the first place.

I love this yoyo! Feels nice, sounds nice. Stable with a nice spin time.

It’s been one day, string snapped.

My son bought this yo-yo a month ago to up his yo-yo game and was very pleased with it, until today. The threads stripped out and now the two sides won’t stay together rendering a pricey yo-yo completely useless. This literally happened 2 days after the return window closed. I would steer clear of this particular model.

If you don’t mind the dull raw Color of the grey version, it’s really a cheap deal for a professional Duncan yo-yo compared to other Color options which are much more in price. Performance is awesome and colors don’t add to performance and skills. ; P
