I just glanced over the coins I received and although this is a cute item, and my son will be super excited to get it, there are some real errors. Minor ones are misspelled country names (ie: Guan vs Guam). Major ones are a U.S. penny under the Spainish flag (I mean, C'mon!) and a Canadian 1 cent coin under the Greece flag. The book comes assembled for you, with extra flags for more counties. I wish they would have let me label them myself, because some of the flag/country name inserts are terribly mangled. There are some pretty cool coins in here though. Over all the collection for the price and the excitement it will bring my son are well worth the money and I would most likely buy it again. (unless I could find one that looked a little more professional/ accurate)

My seven year old saved up his money to buy this after hearing about his teacher's coin collection. It only arrived about an hour ago, and he loves it now. Its unclear whether or not it will keep his interest. For now, it's a fun way to get him interested in learning about other countries. The binder is put together well and there are bunch of extra flags for the kids to collect more coins; however, the binder does not contain extra coin sleeves and there is no way to add extra sleeves. It meets expectations and I would recommend to others.

This isn't perfect but a good starter set for a coin collector. Most of the coins are a very low denomination. It has way too many euro cents, even though EU countries do have their own currency, it does however come with some unusual coins from areas that no longer exist, this alone made it worth while.The cover is a padded case like a menu from a good restaurant. There are also paper flags for the countries not included in this set. Unfortunately this is not a binder and more plastic sheets cannot be added to expand the collection. You can only remove the coins you don't want and replace them. The plastic sheets are beautiful, and in all, a super collection.

I bought this item, and it was very cool, but there were some bad parts.There was another Zambia coin in the pocket for MalawiThere was another Belgium coin in the pocket for LuxembourgThere was another South Africa coin in the pocket for Trinidad and TobagoThere was a Fiji coin in the pocket for New ZealandThere was a coin for Moldova in the pocket for ChechenskayaThe piece of paper for New Zealand said "Zew zealand"But the customer service was able to fix the problems for me!! So if there is a mess up, they will fix it for free! I would definitely recommend

First, PROS: presentation is nice and compact, has only 60 coins spot as is advertised, and coins looks well, in good condition, nice touch the small flags for the other countries.CONS: one coin was missing (Somaliland) is the reason for the 3 stars, every is written in Chinese bigger, require some help to read the English part, obviously the chosen coins are the smallest you can have.

This is a really nice gift for my son who loves coins. Really cool array of places from all over the world. Comes with extra stickers for more coins which is cool too.

My 10 year old son wanted this collection. It has been fun to look at and learn about currency from around the world. However. There are a couple coins that aren't quite accurate (for example the Empire of Brazil ended in 1889, yet the coin is a Brazilian centavo from 1990, which is the exact same the one for Brazil). Overall though, it's a fun set and we've been learning a lot.

There item arrived ahead of schedule and I checked each coin before giving it as a gift.I have traveled extensively around the and regretted not keeping momento of my journeys.Gift for my son now who is five. We get a coin and look it up on the map and I tell him stories about the wonderful people who live in other cultures.

Lasciando stare il fatto che l'ho comprato ad un prezzo più elevato (29.99) che è sceso di 10 euro il giorno dopo il mio acquisto, la spedizione è stata pronta e nei tempi stabiliti (che mi preoccupava visto l'unica altra recensione era sui tempi di spedizione). La copertina nelle foto del prodotto sul sito è nera, e viene anche nominato come di colore nero nella descrizione ma è arrivato un album rosso vivace. Questo non è importantissimo ma va a mostrare la prima delle differenze che ho riscontrato.I paesi non sono uguali a quelli nelle foto del prodotto fornito sul sito, e questo si potrebbe anche capire, che sono casuali. Se uno compra perché desidera una moneta specifica rischia di non essere soddisfatta. Quello che invece non è giusto è che in due casi, ovvero sotto alla bandiera di Kazakstan e di Cuba, ci sono monete di Moldova (che ci sta pure altrove nell'album) e Brasile (che ci sta accanto). Tutto questo ho riportato nelle foto.Inoltre, la moneta sotto alla bandiera di Belgio è belga ma in condizioni molto brutte, tant'è vero che manco si leggono le info sulla moneta. Da collezionista questo era un po' fastidioso.Occhio pure al fatto che le monete che provengono dai paesi dell'Unione Europeo hanno sempre l'euro (1 o 2 centesimi), non le monete pre-UE.Ho comprato un secondo album per vedere se mi arriverà una versione più completa/giusta, e casomai aggiornerò la mia recensione qualora arrivasse una versione migliore col mio secondo tentativo. Tutto sommato è carino ma provoca parecchi disagi per chi ama la collezione delle monete straniere.

Ottimo per fini educativi, le monete sono quasi tutte nuove e abbastanza assortite. Peccato che anche se partita dall'Olanda la merce non era sdoganata e quindi ha impiegato più di un mese per arrivare.
