Great CPL filter. Surprised and impressed!
I’m a professional photographer by trade and I recently bought a Fuji X-T3 as a walkaround camera. I wanted a polariser to put on the 35mm f/1.4 but didn’t want to spend as much as my regular B&W filters, so went for this, keeping my expectations really low.I needn’t have worried. There’s little colour cast, the rotation ring is smooth and well damped and the results are just as good as the B&W and Tiffen filters I normally use for my top end work. Obviously, they’re not as slim as the aforementioned brands, and there’s definitely a slight colour shift, but it’s absolutely minimal and easily corrected in post. Not forgetting that this is a tiny fraction of the cost though, so for the money especially, it’s more than acceptable. Impressed and more than happy to recommend these filters.

poor quality glass - not worth the money
Had great expectations of this CPL filter as I have used K&F Concept filters in the past with out any issuesSadly though, this filter is next to useless and really not worth the one star minimum :(Filter is well packaged, looks great, and is easily attached or removed but thats where the good points endUsing with a brand new Canon 100-400mm L II USM series lens, I had heard others mention in reviews that the lens can be "soft" when used at 400mm length. Thats what I originally thought when checking images on camera screen whilst out watching motor racing - expected this lens to be ideal for thisHowever, when I returned home, and checked the images on my computer, I was VERY disappointed to see that virtually all of my images with this lens were blurry, (with the exception of the 100mm wide ones which seemed perfect), that they were basically unusable - a whole weekend ruined :(Even my old Sigma 150-600mm lens was returning better results, even hand held at 600mm, than with this new lens and filter combinationSo, to determine whether the filter, or indeed perhaps the lens were about to be returned for a refund, (or both?), I mounted the camera/lens onto my tripod and took some comparison photos which I have included with this reviewThe images were taken looking at some houses approx 2 - 2.5 miles away and using my Canon EOS 7D cameraLeft image is at full zoom, 400mm, with K&F filter attachedRight image, also 400mm, but no filterThe results speak for themselves - luckily it turns out my lens is fine, but sadly the filter is on its way back for a refund. Not recommended, sorry K&F

Went on, now wont come off!
When this arrived, I put it on my 35mm lens, had a look, took it off and put it away. The next day I had a bit of time, so put it back on the lens and took it outside to try a few shots and see what the results were like. When I came back in and tried to remove it, it would not come off, and days later still has not.I'm a powerlifter, so my strength is not the issue, if I twist any harder I am going to damage the lens, I can feel it begining to twist.I don't know what I am going to do, as I do not want this constantly attached to my lens, with all the nonsense going on in the country I can't even take it to a camera shop at my expense to see if they have any ideas. Not happy!Update:Using the 'rubber band trick' I managed to get this thing off my lens. Before all the drama I'd taken several shots outside, in the sunlight, to compare them, with and without the filter. And the results were absolutely ZERO difference!I took shots with the sun in front, behind and to the sides, no difference at all. This product is a total waste at best.

Optics good, casing poor.
Lens itself is optically good, nice and clear, only issue is the outer thread is poor. Thread being poorly cut means it doesn't go onto the lens very smoothly and i'm worried it could damage the thread on my lens. Will stick to Hoya next time.

Care - difficult to remove once on!
Waste of money. The polarising variation ring is so tight that the only way to turn it without the filter coming off is against the lens thread, which makes it very difficult to remove (as 2 scratches on my lens rim now testify!). Don’t be tempted by the price as I was!

Decent filter
Decent little filter. Wasn’t expecting much for the price compared to high end filters but seemed to do the trick without losing too much quality in my photos. As you can see in my before & after photos I was able to remove glare from the window. I did notice a bit of vignetting in some photos though but nothing that couldn’t be fixed in post.

Ok, but not a lot of thread to attach the lense cap to.
This arrived today. Havnt had a chance to use it much yet, but it seems like a decent enough polarising filter. It is a bit stiff to turn but I expect to ease off over time. The biggest issues I have is that when it is installed it is really hard to grip the textured ring to remove it again and there is very little thread on the outer ring to attach the lense cap to - the threads in the end of the lense fit the lense cap perfectly but the ones in the filter only allow for about 1 row of gripping "teeth" from the lense cap meaning there is a chance if not attached correctly the lense cap could come off. I usually like to keep a filter on my camera to protect the end of the lense, but given the issues with taking this off and the lack of significant grip for the lense cap, I am not convinced I will keep this on long term.

Far too stiff to be useable
Polarising effect is fine, unlike some other posters I've found it does cut glare and reflection from water and glass just fine.Sadly though, there are two big problems with this filter.1. It's far to stiff! - It's really difficult to turn when it's attached to the lens. So much, that you have two grip it with two fingers to turn it. This mean that you can't put the Lens hood on when you're using it, so you get lens flare in your image.2. It get's stuck on the lens - Probably as a result of the 'stiffness' problem. But the first time I used it I could not get it off the lens for love nor money. I tried the elastic band trick, the rubber glove, just about everything. In the end, I had to heat up the end of the lens with a hair dryer, after a few minutes struggling, it came off.I haven't risked putting it on the camera since.Go for a better brand is my advice!Martin
