Yves Saint Laurent OPIUM 3.0 oz EDT Spray NEW in Box for Women

This was always my favorite perfume. I have loved it for well over 30 years. The formulation was different years ago and would stay in clothing... It was just lovely. I have ordered Opium online--including through Amazon--in the past. An Amazon experience years ago stated it was the "original Opium" but, when it arrived, it smelled like a cleaning chemical--and was an obvious fake. Opium lovers cannot be fooled! We know the scent and we know when it's a fake. The newer formula is lovely too and has always been my "go to." Unfortunately, it has been getting harder and harder to find. It even used to be carried at CVS, but that is over with too. So, in my recent online search hoping to find a bottle of Opium, I read a lot of the reviews for this seller and many stated that this was Opium and not a fake. So, I ordered a bottle and...yup! It's not a fake! I'm so happy and grateful that fellow Opium lovers were kind enough to let others know that this is Opium. I'm going to order another bottle and suggest you do, too. My 2nd "go to" is Black Opium. Also, very lovely. But, I wish perfume manufacturers wouldn't put perfumes out to pasture. I think a new generation of young women would love this perfume. Stock up while you can, ladies. :-)

If you’ve never tried it, you should. I was surprised how large the bottle was for the price. I never get tired of smelling it and I’ve always been told how nice to others. It also keeps my bedroom, smelling fabulous

Having worn Opium eau de toilette the scent is v/familiar to me. This had an odor of being maybe in a warehouse., not new. I am disappointted, first time purchased product from Amazon.

This is my husband’s favorite fragrance on me wasn’t a bad price still have some left, but will be buying more in the near future

Genuine product not a fake or copy. I have suffered from severe migraines since I was a teenager and strong smelling perfume can trigger these for me, even just sitting beside someone who is wearing too much perfume can start a migraine. When I say severe migraines I mean in bed for at least 1-2 days, physically ill, unable to eat or function and just have to lie in a dark room. Opium is the only perfume that doesn't start a migraine for me and so I have worn it from the age of 16. However it's becoming increasingly difficult to find in shops or chemists, so I thought I would try Amazon. It arrived when expected the price was fair, I have paid more in the past. I was really worried it would be a knock off version as this has happened to me before buying online so I was a bit cautious. But it's the real thing and I'm really pleased with it.
