Great generator
It's a Honda generator. It does what it is supposed to do. It reliably works, day after day, and uses little gas.

Light weight
It’s fairly quiet. Not whisper quiet, but certainly not annoying.

One of the best generators on the market
Honda makes a great generator. We use ours on our boat to charge our batteries and make hot water. On the boat it is really important to have a quiet generator and the Honda is awesome. Buying from Amazon was a good choice since so many dealers and stores were out of stock. Shipping took 7 days from coast to coast!

Kept the 'fridge, freezer, and RV going post hurricane
We ran a 30 amp RV on this in limited fashion (it's a 15 amp generator) after a hurricane for a number of days. We kept the RV refrigerator in propane mode, which lowered demand on the unit. It could handle the AC when not in slow and fast mode response to amp demand. No problem keeping the house fridge and freezer cold for days (could not be connected to the RV at that time). Also ran fans in the house, that was a plus. Another plus was that the RV battery was kept charged, which allows for lighting and DC uses in the RV. And we used the gas stove in the RV for cooking, so that reduced the need for an electric hot plate which would need to be run on the generator. We purchased 8 gallons of gas prior to the hurricane. It used three gallons over 2.5 days of solid running. Not bad. Must check the oil after each run, don't skip that step. Overall very pleased with the generator's performance.

works well but there is cheaper
so I paid 1244 for those one but there is another EU2200iTAN1 2200 watt generator for $1099 and darn if I can find a difference. What's weird is both of these are at least comestically different than the one I received. All have bluetooth. All Say "Honda inverter Eu2200i Companion 30a" The one I received looks more like the cheapter $1,099 one. If there is a difference they buried it. I converter mine to run on propane with the Hutch Mountain kit. We are in a condo and they don't like gas around here. They all leave when we have a hurricane but still I'd prefer propane so I don't have to screw with stablite and draining the gas from the Carb. It's quieter than those other big boy generators but lol it's not what I call super quiet, come on now. Other than maybe buying that cheaper one by $145, you can't go wrong with this Honda if you take care of it. This will be used to charge an Anker Solix f3800 battery system (don't laugh). 2400 watts of solar panels is $5,000 so yeah easy to figure a Honda generator is still the best way to cool if you don't mind the "Super Quiet" and propane. And it's day and night if desired you don't have to wait for the sun to show up.

Not what the photo shows…it’s better
This is the new model with the rubber covers the receptacles. The seller responded to my question about this immediately. Hooks up great to my 2200i with the connection cable (not included). Great generator!
