I definitely would recommend this bag for anyone that is looking for a sturdy backpack to carry around their dog. I researched around for a bag that was in my price range without losing the quality. I came into the problem of everyone's review saying how small their backpacks ran. I have a 20lb jack russell and this is perfect for him. **I ordered a size large. It gives him a flat bottom for him to sit down and enough room for him not be smushed in the bag. He sticks his little paws out the top arm holes which is so cute!! It even has a spot to hold his water bottle and leash. The material of the bag is very nice and sturdy. Bag has ventilation for him,too. The straps are comftorable. My boyfriend wore it for 45min with him on our walk and gave the thumbs up. My dog is older so this is perfect for the last part of our longer walks when he is ready for a break:) I like it too because it has straps that clip over the zipper as an extra safety so you know your buddy is safe and no chance of them falling out. If your dog is shorter like mine, you can roll down the top for him so he can have his head popped out. I thought I wouldnt like the design with him facing my back, but my dog loves it. Its like a little kid getting a piggy back ride. If you are looking for a sturdy,comfy, pack at a reasonable price, I would definitely recommend you grab one of these.. I think its really great how they made this optional for bigger (heavier) dogs like mine.

Ordered a size 'Small' for my 7lb toy French poodle and with a back length of 12". He fits in it well with a minor issue placing his front paws through the top holes made for their paws. Other than that works' fairly good. Took him to the mall and had no issue with him trying to crawl out. Seems' to be of good quality and nice built (not cheaply made).Update:I had to send back for a replacement as the cord to one of the side pockets snapped. When I recieved the replacement, the same thing occured w the cord. However, their customer service were very swift in handling the minor issue. I am keeping the bag as it is still of good quality and does the job. Also, a company that responds to their customers in a timely manner shows they care about their customers and not just the money. Also, worth much less than a fraction of other bags with similar build and quality so I'm keeping it! Overall it's still a worthy bag!

The bag is study and it appears unlikely to randomly tear on a day out. It took some convincing to get my dog into it, but then she seemed pretty comfortable and secure in it. The three buckles in addition to the zipper are reassuring. She's a very anxious dog so it's important that she can't get out in case she panics and tries to escape. The reason why I need the bag is that she's an agoraphobic/anxious dog, as well as to carry her on the NYC subway. I'm a big fan of pockets and there are a few on the sides of the bag to put things like water bottles. The straps are padded and there's a small chest strap to help shift the weight. I ordered the Large size, which was a little small but the sellers were very helpful and made sure I got a bigger size, the X-Large. My dog is 27 lbs and about 23 inches (I think) and that fit her better. Overall, would recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  I was worried my dogs wouldn’t like it because the one in the picture is very nervous. She LOVES IT!! I haven’t had any problem with it yet. The only thing I would mention is, the sizing chart has you measure neck to tush. However, if your pup is like mine and won’t sit down, make sure you measure neck to feet 🤣 I got the small and half her body is outside of it but it’s ok because we love it so much we bought a another one in a bigger size!Also, It has a strap across my chest which makes it feel more secure but i do wish it had another strap closer to my waist or lower like a hiking backpack

So I got this to replace those cheaper striped, front facing dog carriers for my 8lb Yorkie. (Nothing is wrong with it, just wanted a sturdier one)The materials of this backpack, especially the buckles don’t seem like they’re going to last the test of time. The material of the backpack itself seem a little bit better made.It is big for him. I had to put some cloth at the bottom to make up the difference in his height.Because it is big for him, he wiggles easily out of the front arm holes easily.It is easier for him to wiggle versus the aforementioned front facing carrier I was using which can be uncomfortable during our rides.I am able to tighten the material towards the bottom to ensure he can’t jump out.It is affordable, but the materials aren’t up to par with the price. I’m wondering if maybe I should’ve spent the extra $30 for the K9 backpack.

I enjoy using this for my 32 pound Jack Russell/Bassett Hound mix, Winn-Dixie. I recently bought an electric scooter and I know I couldn’t just leave him alone to miss out on the fun so this helps our rides out to the dog park so much easier. I will say that he tends to slant on the side like a doll which is my least favorite part of it. But so far it is holding up well and it get the job done for a good price

The backpack I received was well-made and much higher quality than expected for the low price. The shipping time was also much faster than the Amazon estimates and I received the backpack very quickly. Although her measurements and weight fit the size chart, my dog's backside was just a little bit too large to fit into the extra large backpack. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and offered great return or replacement options. I wish my labrador was a little bit smaller to use this, but I will definitely be getting another in the future for hiking when I have smaller dogs!

So pleased with the style, quality, and size of this pack. My dog loves it and it fits us both really well.Not sure how it would hold up on a long hike but for short trips (walking In shops where dogs ‘not allowed’ or riding a motor cycle) it is very handy.I suggest the sellers/manufacturers revisit the size chart because the inches and cm don’t match up. I took a chance and ordered a M- luckily it fits perfect,
