Works great for me. Totally natural. Trees dogs plants people all fine. Mosquitos didn’t make it.
I was unsure with a mix of reviews online and skeptical of the idea that one natural product would work. But it was reasonably priced and believed it wouldn’t hurt our dog, plants, fireflies and other critters we love. And if it works against Dracula it’s gotta work. I bought the smaller bottle and a pump pressure spray separately for $12. It’s been very hot and muggy for days and days to come, so it was the perfect time to apply. The product comes in a nice sturdy commercial bottle, and is inside a ziplock type bag. That’s smart, as any drop or leak will leave a stain of odor, but I was glad to see and smell that the product had muscle to it. Definitely open and mix outdoors, The garlic smell is huge and lingers in your head, and you may think the house will smell like it forever, but it goes away before you know it. Mixed about 3-4 shots of the garlic juice with a gallon of water in the sprayer applicator. (By the way, taking the sprayer apart to clean is essential, but it’s the most garlic intense moments of all. If inside, run the water slowly washing the outside of the sprayer, then fill it up and let it spray out water until empty.) I was ready to apply, so I did. I had the sprayer set to a strong mist, not too misty or wind will just take it away. I just kept it on spray as I walked around the perimeter of backyard. It’s a mix of bushes, flowers and tall plants. Spray from the ground up otherwise you’ll be under a mist of garlic. And the key is to push the applicator through the leaves, turning it to coat 360 around the leaves. It actually starts to be quite fun. I did my entire backyard and went ahead and did the front set of bushes too. I did this at 6:30 pm while mosquitos were out. You want them there to see and be seen by the sprayer. It certainly agitated them, as they came out from everywhere. Wear long stuff at least the first time. Once done with the front, I walked to backyard. It really smelled like intense garlic, neighbors must have thought I was cooking something horrible, but who cares, this benefits them too. After about 1 hour the odor started to dissipate, the mosquitos were less dense but I was still unsure. Next day I got up when mosquitos would be up, around 6am and there was no smell of garlic, trees and grass were alive and well and the dog was clueless. But, mosquitos were there. Product says to do it 2-3 times. I did it again, much faster. Mosquitos agitated but not as many. Good sign. This time I was done in 15 minutes, and kinda fun, familiar smell. Came back from work, my wife was in the backyard with the dog. Both enjoying the time, no garlic smell and she says she hasn’t been bitten at all. I do see a few as I walk around, but am super impressed. I saw it worked, so I was inspired to do another round. Being an expert applicator now, I did it while my wife grilled. Even asked if the steak needed a spritz of garlic...I thought it was funny. Applied, done, ready for dinner. Ate inside. Had dessert in the backyard, no garlic smell, no citronella candles, and zero mosquitos. Fireflies? Yes, plenty. It works for my yard I walk the dog around the block and there are lots of mosquitos, but we come back to our yard and it’s mosquito free. I’m writing this from my backyard, its been a week and still good, I’m sure I’ll apply again in a week or two, as I start to miss the garlic mist.

Works Great! Were in Delaware killed our mosquitos> *UPDATE*
Sprayed it, in our backyard. It works I watched those mosquitos fly away, while I was spraying everything. Moths too! We did it just before heading to the beach for the weekend. The first day it smelled like Olive Garden. When we came back it was faintly smelling like Olive Garden. By the 4th day you couldn't smell it. I had 0 mosquito bites on me. Now I didn't spray the front yard. Because I wanted to see if it really worked. Now if I walked into the front yard Id get eaten alive. It's been exactly 4 weeks today and I have to get the booster spray for it. It goes truelly 4 weeks. I got a small bite on me yesterday. Definitly works. I got it for ticks too. Ive seen no ticks either. Looking online right now, for a cheaper price on it. Most places sell this cheaper. We have mosquitos here in delaware near year round except snow time. So to find something safe for the kids and dog, and doesn't smell like poision is great. If ya like Garlic then your in for a treat. My kitchen didn't smell like olive garden very much. But Outside sure did. This time I plan on spraying the front and the back yard. Every 4 weeks. For mosquito peace. They can hang out with the neighbors. *UPDATE********** It lasted a month. Before I had a chance to get some more. Exactly 30 days later, we had a flea infestation!!!! In 14yrs of living here we have 2 indoor cats. Use Advantax on the dog. Never seen a flea. Now after using this product my dog is picking up fleas outside. Her spot medicine did not prevent her. This stuff works so good. I think it detered everything. I origionaly got it for the ticks. I have never seen a tick since using he mosquito barrier. But since flea and tick usually go hand in hand. I can almost guarentee a link. So I am defleaing my house and will have to use mosquito barrier on outside kill fleas and mosquitos now. Just don't skip a dose or you end one problem and start anoher.

Seems to work on asian tiger mosquitos... if you double the strength. Spray and wait a couple hours.
I used this in my back yard, where, here in the DC area we have vicious asian tiger mosquitos. If you have them, you understand the desperation of trying to get rid of them. If you have children, you understand why I was desperate to find a solution that was definitely not a poison for people. I am not opposed to using pesticides, and I see them as generally very safe. But children are small and have small livers and kidneys, their toxin load comcerns me. Finding this solution is a Godsend. I had to spray it very thoroughly, at DOUBLE the concentration under all shrub foliage and over the grass areas. This is not a super easy application with a simple 2 gallon pump on a 1/4 acre lot. But it was simple andit really seemed to work after a few hours wait. The mosquitos were gone, I maybe saw 1 and it was safe for my daughter to play outside. Before there would be 5 om her in less than a minute. DOWNSIDE: One strong rain and they are back in force. Though this is not too different from other repellent choices. The smell is stromg but goes away in a day. At double strength, it's about $2.00 per application (for a quarter acre) if it doesn't rain it will work for days, a really great price. It's better if you dont have many bushes or shrubs (they hide under the leaves). Keep it in the fridge, sealed in a bag to keep the smell from getting everywhere. Not a cheap solution, but neither are any alternatives other than fogging strong pesticides. I will update after some more uses, (I've used it about 4 times, enough to be reasonably, but not 100% confident that it is working), I promise.

Great product- no bugs for my party!!
I got this because temrinix said that their mosquito treatment only kills mosquitoes. It won’t repel them for the party I was planning. The tech recommended this stuff. He said he used it in his own backyard. Sprayed it about 3 hours before a backyard party (you will need a sprayer of some sort). Smelled like garlic for about 20 min but it quickly went away. No mosquitoes or bugs all evening (I did have 4 citronella tiki torches burning for extra protection). Would definitely recommend. 5 stars. Great product.

Mosquitoes Love This!
Doesn't work, I wasted my money on this product. Sprayed my greenhouse 4 days in a row with the recommended dosage. which was stronger with each day. By the last day I have nuked them and not to my surprise the mosquitoes were flying around within hours inside my greenhouse.

Inconsistent when used in a spray bottle
I bought this based on a recommendation of a DIY person on YouTube who said he was making a homemade version of this product which he showed in his video. I work trapping cats in areas that are often very, very busy with mosquitoes. One thing I learned for sure is to spray and then walk away and come back 20 minutes later when it dries. Do not plan to work immediately after you spray because it sends the mosquitoes into a tizzy. I found that spraying a pretty large area where I was working worked for a day or two, and then the mosquitoes were back in force. And then when I sprayed again, we had an unexpected rain, but I had great protection the next day, surprisingly. So, it’s been inconsistent at best when it claims that it will last 2 to 4 weeks barring major rain. Full disclosure, I used 2 tablespoons of this mixture, previously shaken, to one spray bottle, i.e. a Windex bottle of water. I sprayed the area where I was working thoroughly. That was my best estimate for a scale down; it was actually 1 tablespoon to the bottle of water, but I added a 2nd tablespoon to be safe. It smells very, very strong and I keep it in my car, which now constantly smells like garlic fries! We’ve been discussing whether or not to buy a backpack sprayer and buy all the individual components to make a DIY version but thought this would last me along while and would be a good test. My husband says the area where I’m working is a very difficult area that just traps in mosquitoes so maybe this was an impossible standard. I’m setting. I’ll keep using it but so far I am not sold. I still need to wear a long sleeves and use bug spray to keep them off of me.

Mosquitoes don’t like garlic. This stuff works!
I tell everyone about this stuff! If you mosquitoes and don’t want to spray chemicals around your property then this is for you. It works really well and keeps the mosquitoes at bay. One caution though…mosquitoes seem to know what it is so they’re particularly nasty while you spray it. I suggest a head net while spraying then just enjoy your mosquito-free (or at least greatly reduced) yard.

Low risk, low reward
I've been dealing with mosquitos in my backyard and frontyard but having dogs, been looking for something pet friendly and cost-effective. With a sprayer, sprayed the front bushes/plants and instantly saw mosquitos fly away. Some even flew towards me but the spray didn't kill them, more just annoyed them away. Sadly, even after multiple applications, the mosquitos are still around. So it might work but is very short-lived: Sprayed the front every 2-3 days and mosquitos still hanging around, even going with a stronger dilution.

Whew! But it seems to work.
Smelly stuff but seems to work. Except flies. I think it brings in flies.

Excellent and effective product
I’m not trying to ‘mess with our ecosystem’ by eliminating all the bugs but I do like to ride my horse without being swarmed by mosquitoes. I sprayed this stuff in my grass riding area and it WORKS incredible. Me and my horse are able to enjoy a bug free ride. I did not spray the rest of my yard and there’s lots of mosquitos. It smells faintly of garlic. Doesn’t bother me at all. EXCELLENT product.

Well worth a try.
I believe it does work but probably not a whole lot more than the OFF mosquito coils or citronella.

Didn't last long
Seemed to work for a day or two. Better off getting Pounce if you're wanting something more effective and longer lasting. This is good if you want something more environmentally friendly and don't have a large area to treat. If just a backyard it probably is more worth it, but for the cost and effectiveness it's not good for an acreage.
