Lightlife Foods, Smart Deli Slices Pepperoni, 4 Ounce

This veggie pepp is SIMPLY INCREDIBLE, however I am in the same boat as one of the other reviewers who cannot find or get a local grocery store to stock this. I have filled out DOZENS of comment cards for all the local grocery chains and for whatever reason, even though they carry LightLife products, they cannot or will not stock this pepperoni. I've been a vegetarian going on 29 years and the ONLY meat item I get a craving for is pepperoni and this veggie pepperoni TAKES THE CAKE. All the other brands of veggie pepp SUCK and I assure you I have tried them all. So thank you amazon for carrying it, oh wait, now they don't carry it. I was happy to pay the money to have a case of this shipped to me every couple of months, put it in the freezer and pull out the individual packages as needed so it's a shame it is no longer available. PLEASE BRING IT BACK AMAZON - DO WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO DO!!!

It's not EXACTLY like pepperoni but its pretty darn close! The whole family loves this on pizza 🍕!

Other non-meat pepperoni that I've tried from other brands like Yves smelled like dog-food & tasted disgusting. This is the first & only vegetarian pepperoni that has a similar flavor to real pepperoni. It's amazing! The texture is different from real pepperoni in that it is more crumbly than actual pepperoni, but I prefer it this way because it is also less slimy & greasy. If the pepperoni crumbles & doesn't hold its shape that's fine because I'm going to be chewing it into small pieces anyway. It's all about the flavor.

I use to buy this all the time and used it in a variety of recipes & ways. Tasted awesome & cooked beautifully. My local grocery store, Tops Friendly Markets, stop selling in unexpectedly 10 yrs ago and I have been looking for it ever since then. No luck until now but my hopes were quickly dashed when it was unavailable. Why is it impossible to find this great product?

This is absolutely hands down the best fake pepperoni. Unfortunately, no stores no longer carry it anywhere near me (even 100+ miles) and no one will special order it for me (even though they carry other Light Life products). I am extremely happy that I can now buy it on Amazon even if it does end up costing about $5.92 a pack (with shipping). I have tried both the Tofurkey and Yves versions of pepperoni and I do not think they taste anything like actually real pepperoni. Even my mother (a meat eater) said she was shocked about how much this actually tastes like pepperoni. I haven't yet ordered from this vendor (about to do so now) so I can't comment on the shipping time etc. but I do know that this brand of pepperoni is absolutely wonderful. It is great to eat straight out of the box, or add to homemade/frozen pizzas or to make pepperoni rolls (roni rolls). I am so ecstatic that it is on Amazon to order.

This is the ONLY vegetarian pepperoni I will eat...it is delicious and tastes like the "real deal!" I can't find it in stores anywhere around my community...Amazon, PLEASE bring it back so I can order it! Thanks!
