Essential tool
I needed something to knock in mooring stakes on canal sides as there are often no actual mooring rings or posts. I have had various hammers and mallets in the past - this is the most efficient ever. It feels like a four pound lump hammer in use, but is extremely comfortable to grip and to swing. I have used it quite a few times now without the slightest problem; I don't think I could damage it if I tried and it doesn't harm the mooring spikes much, as some others have done.

It snapped
We were hammering the spike peg to tie the dog up and the hammer snapped off the handle, couldn’t send back as it was past the refund stage
