is there garlic or onions in this? i cannot have either

Real, traditional Ajvar is made with peppers, eggplants, oil, and salt. It should not contain onions, garlic, tomatoes, or any other ingredients. I have been buying this brand for a while and it is excellent. Very close to my mom's homemade version.

After opening, how long can it last in the refrigerator?

Mine never lasts long, love it so......!.....

Can anyone share the nutrition information? I would like to know how much fat, how many calories.

Serving size is 1.4oz......per serving calories are 70 (50 calories from fat)....per serving fat is 6grams....ALSO 300mg. of sodium, 7grams of carbs, 0 cholesterol.....ingredients are roasted peppers, eggplant, salt, oil, stabilizer, sugar, vinegar: that's it......WARNING (mine): this stuff has such a unique flavor that it is HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!!!!.....used to get it in Vermont in a European grocery (this brand: is a productive of Macedonia) where the owner's wife made her own for her family.....BUT I live in retail-retarded Montana so have to order from Amazon!!!......

Hi Melanie, Sorry for the delayed response. There is one gram of sugar. This is truly the best Ivar, we have been able to get in the United States via Amazon. It is a close second or first no matter how you vote with Mama's Ajvar!
