I quit using bar soap years ago. Someone I like and admire gave me one of these. (Ew! Bar soap!) I decided to try it on my face only. WOW! This soap feels great and I love the smell! My face felt soft and clean. Now I'm hooked! Thank you to the person who gifted me one! (And, yes, it feels great on the body too.)

This last for a long time, it does not turn to mush like so much other soap. It smells great too. Creates great lather.

Was hoping the buttermilk soap would have a goats milk scent but the smell is dull and faint.

yardley is one of my favourite brand. This one is an American imported . Smell is light and decent but very much time bound. It disappears in an hour or two. Very good for sensitive skin. It won't dry out your skin. Soap will last for more than 4 weeks if 2 in the family uses it.

Tallow based soap, with shea butter and buttermilk. Very creamy lather, and nice and soft perfume. The only drawback is the price.

Not convinced this is the genuine article. Arrived in a battered cardboard box. No hygienic wrapping at all. Certainly not worth the price paid.
