My son's favorite toy!
My ten-month old absolutely loves this toy. He's had it for a few months, and it's a go to for us to entertain him. The toy is easy to hold for little hands, and the spokes bend which are a nice touch. We haven't had any problems with pinching fingers at the base of the toy, and I mention this only because I vaguely remember reading a review that indicated so. This toy also spins when placed face down or up, which is one of our favorite features of the toy. There's a small bell at the back, although this doesn't truly provide that much noise/sound. We were looking for toys that were non-toxic, and that's why we decided to buy this. Although the product is a bit expensive for a baby toy, it is well worth it. If we ever lost this toy out and about, we would definitely purchase again.

Love it for multiple reasons.
I originally bought this wooden toy for my 1 year old little girl because we needed a new teething toy and it is just so cute! Also, it is made by Haba (always a reliable company). Now that we've had it a while, we love it for multiple reasons:- The tiny bell inside jingles, but it's just loud enough to hear if you are holding it --in other words, it's not at all annoying.- It's durable. We've had it for about 4 months now and it still looks like new. The paint has not chipped off despite my daughter's constant gnawing/gumming.- Non-toxic- The "sun beams" move around so she can twist them and pull on them.- When we put it on a hard surface, it spins around like a top would. She thinks this is hilarious.- Highly entertaining (for my baby at least). She will sit and play with it for 15-20 minutes at a time and she carries it all over the house.I'd recommend Sunni to anyone!

dipped into pots of baby food and repeatedly slammed into concrete at the playground and still looks great. The face hasn't even
At thirteen months my daughter still occasionally enjoys playing with her sunny. We bought it around four months, and it was a huge hit from roughly 5-8 months because it can be chewed on, flung around haphazardly, slammed repeatedly into hard surfaces, stepped on, stood on, thrown across the room, the sun rays can be pulled out and snap back loudly into place, and the toy is colourfull and cheerful to boot.By the end of the first month, I did notice little ridges in the clear coat over the woodstain and was worried it was coming off. I contacted HABA and was told that this is normal and has to do with the wood grain. It's been seven months now, and I haven't noticed any serious chipping despite the many play sessions of gnawing and banging around this toy has been through. It's a total trooper. It's been drenched in drool, dipped into pots of baby food and repeatedly slammed into concrete at the playground and still looks great. The face hasn't even scratched off, so I'm seriously impressed. In all, the sunny is a great quality wood toy that my first child has enjoyed thoroughly and I am hoping to save for baby number two, whenever that time comes.

Cute but baby isn’t sure what to do
5 stars for cuteness, but it is rather small so I gave 4. My daughter really doesn’t seem interested in it at all. She just kinda looks at it and then finds something else to play with but that might just be her. It’s made beautiful and the colors are vibrant

Cutest bit of sunshine!
This is such a sweet little rattle and teether. My baby absolutely loves it. It has a tiny bell that makes the sweetest little sound. It is pretty faint. My son will turn and chew on each “sun ray,” the longest “ray” does go a little too far in his throat and he gags for a second but then he keeps chewing happily. But if that makes you nervouse then maybe wait until baby has gotten a bit bigger. We also found a surprise that if you lay this on a flat surface, and gove it a spin, the sun will twirl. It is so great, just watching it spin. It happened by accident the first time and now we do it all the time. It is so cute in pictures. I definitely recommend getting this.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine...
This is my 5 month olds favorite toy! The wood is beautifully made and the colors are gorgeous! As a mama who looks for wood and non toxic toys I couldn't have made a better choice! Haba's quality and attention to detail are second to none! This little sun's rays move and stretch and it also has a little bell in the back. Don't worry if you're a parent who likes to stay away from loud annoying toys. This little bell produces a quiet little jingle, perfect and exciting for little ears. Overall, a fantastic toy that deserves a place in your child's toy basket.

such a cute toy
I got this for my grandson who had just turned 3 months old, so far he loves playing with it and chewing on the little sun rays. It is such a happy looking toy & I love that the bell has such a soft ring. I also got the little triangles for him & he loves those too, the colors are just wonderfully bright and cheerful on these toys and it was so nice to get toys that he can play with now. Will be buying more of this brand as he gets older, I like how they are made from wood instead of plastic & with nontoxic paints

Wood is cracking
My 6-month daughter really likes this toy. I was very excited to discover the HABA line of toys as I appreciated the consistent high reviews for quality, as well as the details that make them so interactive. Unfortunately, our Sunni clutching toy has cracked around the base (where the bell is inserted), and the paint is wearing off. We haven’t had the toy that long, or used it sufficiently to warrant this.
