Sheath does not retain tool when upturned
Not the close fit you would expect from Kydex. When upturned the tool falls out.

Solides Holster für ein Skeletool
Super sache.

Makes that Satisfying Clicking Noise!
First of All, Always loved my Leatherman Skeletool CX; however, I fell out of using (carrying it) because it was impractical to carry in my pocket (also cracked my cell phone screen once). When I looked for a sheath before, I was not impressed with Leatherman's standard issue, or other manufactured sheaths on the market at the time, then I found the Clip & Carry system. Almost immediately, I was very impressed by the contoured shape, materials, feel (texture), and overall performance of this sheath "system". The cost didn't hurt either. In particular, is the satisfying "click" made when inserting or removing the tool, which ensures it is securely held until you need it. Best expression, I can say when comparing this product with an ordinary sheath is this is the one a superhero would clipped to their utility belt with its highly molded (almost athletic fit) design and functionality. Only complaint is instead of using a belt clip with a single 360 degree point to allow for full orientation control it uses two points that offer only a 22 percent rotation and has to be tightened/screwed in place often. Perhaps when the designer comes out with the Clip & Carry 2.0 they will address this. Can't wait to find out designer starts making sheaths for Gerber Multitools.

Poor design for Skeletool
You never see pictures of this sheath from the side and there is a reason…you wouldn’t buy it if you did. I am no stranger to kydex sheaths and holsters and this one makes no sense. From the photos you can see it looks like a taco style sheath (1 piece of kydex folded like a taco) with a retention screw on the open side. That would work. Problem is that it’s open on both side. No matter how much you adjust the 1 side, the other is wide open. There is no satisfying click when you insert the skeletool. Once the skeletool is in place it doesn’t even look like it was made for that tool. The skeletool is not as secure as you want from a sheath or case. The other models they sell for other style Leathermans are either closed on both sides or at least closed on 1 side. Not sure why they decided to go a different route with this one. Check out the 1 and 2 star reviews and see actual pics of what you are buying and read the same issues that everyone is mentioning. If they could find a way to close 1 side and then use the retention screw effectively it would be a good item but as it is it makes no sense and is a mystery how anyone could look at this design and think “Yeah this is a great idea”.

Nice holster
Positive experience with this holster to date. I work as a first responder in an urban setting and have had this in holster on my belt for about a month now with no issues. It has a very satisfying 'click' as the tool locks into place. The only concern that I have long-term is that with both sides of the tool holster open, it may catch on something and break--however so far, so good.
