Bandelettes Original Patented Elastic Anti-Chafing Thigh Bands *Prevent Thigh Chafing*

I have been looking for something like this for a very long time. finally without any shorts or boxers in the stifling heat in Summer or any grease from the anti chafe products, this stays on the thighs is very comfy and now I bought another color, size down though, on inch won't make a difference and better to make sure it stays where it belongs. Plus easy ro rinse off, quick to dry to wear the next day

I was skeptical at first, especially since my thighs rub so tight my protectant shorts rise up and I still chafe. BUT THEY WERE AMAZING. I used them everyday to my grip to Oregon. Under skirts and dresses, it was so humid, they did not slip, did not bother me, I forgot I had them on. They were not tight, I got a Large I’m a size 12 in jeans. They did not loose elasticity. I was afraid of that. I walked for 12+ hours, the cloth did not budge or hurt my skin. As someone who looked for YEARS on remedies or clothing to help with chafing, do it. Just do it.

I got both a lace pair and a non lace pair. The lace one don't go as far down as the non lace ones which is why i think they are so hard to find a somewhat comfortable spot. They don't cover all of our thigh/all of where is rubs. If you pull them down so the seams don't rub then the top of your thigh is exposed, if you pull them up then the bottoms come unaligned and can rub uncomfortably. This may tempt you to try and use something else with it, but DON'T, it just makes the adhisve less stickyI say if you are going to wear them, you should probably be doing it for fashion or under shorts to make them longer, or if your thighs don't rub a lot anyway. One the plus side, they were well made and fit around my leg perfectly. Lacy ones i give 2.5-3 stars The non lacy ones i loved. They where thin and silky, but not so thin to not do their job, they went further down my leg than the lace ones, so no uncomfortable rubbing at the bottom and no exposed top. I wore them in 118 degree weather and was fine (well my thighs were, the rest of me not so much). They were a wider than the lace ones even though I ordered the exact same size from the exact same company so they where pretty loose, also a size to big. They are easy to take in though if you know how so thats cool, better to order too big than too small. Also after wearing them a few (3) days in a row the adhesive didn't stick as well, that mixed with being too big made the actually slide down my leg. I haven't worn them since i washed them but the adhesive does feel sticker so we'll see. I give the non lacy ones a solid 4. TL,DR Lacy: Sizing: good Length down thigh: too short Tips: only wear to lengthen shorts or if you don't have very much rub to begin with Overall score: 3 Non lacy: Sizing: a size too big, but easy to take in yourself Length down thigh: much better about 1 1/2 inches longer, completely covers area that rubs Tips: Order a size down. DON'T use other anti-chaffing stuff with it (baby powder, deodorant, etc) it interferes with the adhesive. Wash regularly Overall score: Solid 4

These have been life saving! I cannot believe I have gone my whole life without them! They are super soft and fit without pinching or riding up. I have sensitive skin and often have reactions to anti-slip materials but I have had no reactions to this product's non-slipe silicone. The circumferance of the top of my thigh is 33 inches and the 3X size fits well. I kinda think the 2X would have been better because they do get a little loose after extended wearing. (Def would not fall down though.) The pictures show them being worn a few inches down from the crotch area but I wear mine high than that. I love them. I live in south Texas. It's hot and humid. I cannot believe I have lived here 10 years and just now gotten these!!

SIZING: My thigh measured exactly 26-1/2" so I purchased both a size C and a size D in the lacy beige color. Both fit, but as I walked it felt like the size D was slipping so I returned that one and kept the C. I would say these run true to size and if you're in between pick the smaller one. The GOOD: These are very easy to get off and on. I wore them around for about an hour and they stayed put, I never felt like I had to adjust them. After a couple of washings they still look brand new. The BAD: Can be visible depending on the material of the skirt or dress you're wearing. I really like the knit foldover skirts from Old Navy and and when I wore these with that item you could see the outline of the band. I also noticed that depending how you walk they make a "swishing" sound. I'm surprised other reviewers haven't mentioned this. If you're out for dinner and drinks I don't think it would be noticeable, but if you're in a quiet setting you may hear it. The OVERALL: These do exactly what they say they're going to do - prevent chaffing. However if I had to choose between this and a product like BodyGlide I would pick the glide because it's less noticeable all around. These are best used in a setting where you'll be walking around all day and need something to stay put and keep you comfortable.

***********UPDATE: I am changing my review, because these completely fell to pieces after exactly three uses. The sticky inner elastic peeled right off the fabric, just from me wearing them. I really wanted these to work, but it seems they aren't built to last. ****************** I work in a hospital and have to wear scrubs for my job. My scrubs are very comfortable, but because of the way they're shaped, the crotch tends to hang down too far and the very top of my thighs tend to rub together. I have folliculitis so all the rubbing is causing me to get cysts all over my upper inner thigh. I've been looking for a solution for a while, first I tried bike shorts, then men's boxer briefs. I ran into the same problem, it was really uncomfortable to have so many layers on, and it got way too hot. Finally I found out about these bands and thought why not. I was very very very skeptical. I've tried thigh high stockings/socks before and they NEVER stay up. I really didn't see why this would be any different. So, these do actually work really well, and I've now used them for two 12 hour shifts without fail. The ONLY reason I got these to work, though, is because of a tip I saw on here which I greatly appreciated. Placement is everything. They only work if the inside of the band is up higher than the outside. The inside of the band needs to be up literally as high as it can go, like almost touching your underwear, or they will roll down. But if you have them just in the right spot, they are not going anywhere. I ran around this hospital, up and down hallways, squatting, bending, assisting patients, and they did not move. My other tip is that if you go to the bathroom, make sure you check your positioning after you pull your underwear back up, because that is the one thing that will mess with them. They work perfectly for my purposes, but I only gave them four stars because I'm really unsure as to how they would work if I were to wear them with a skirt. It seems like they aren't long enough, they don't go far enough down my inner thigh to completely eliminate all the areas my thighs rub together. The other thing is they aren't breathable AT ALL. I could feel myself sweating under the bands like crazy. Still, much less hot than wearing three layers.

These things are amazing. Where have they been all my life? So comfortable and light and they work to keep legs from rubbing together, not to mention cute and sexy too! Am buying more today.

I didn't even know what "chub rub" was until I joined a Plus Sized group when I was planning our honeymoon to Disney. But, I knew it not only made me miserable, but really embarrassed me. When my husband and I were first dating, I had to resort to wearing bike short style panties anytime I wore a skirt. Of course, I had to worry about those bike shorts showing under the skirt as lumps, below the hem of the skirt, or that they might ride up and defeat the purpose. They also made an extra layer of heat in the summertime. The alternative was just to make sure I didn't walk too much. Even worse, what if he put his hand on my thigh and felt that awkward lump under the skirt? I couldn't help but think of them as my "fat girl panties" or "fat girl scuba gear." I certainly did not feel like a beautiful woman or sexy or attractive. I felt embarrassed. I know that skinny girls wear them too for shaping, but I still felt awkward and unattractive. After I got married, I still had a preoccupation with it. My husband loved my body, but that thigh-chafing problem really embarrassed me, so I would dress out of eye-shot when I wore a skirt and I never wore shorts. Bandalettes have been a complete blessing. They look like lingerie and don't make you feel like you're wearing granny panties under your clothes. They look like something you wore deliberately to feel pretty and feminine. They don't look like something you're wearing "to keep your thighs from rubbing." They look just like an attractive addition to your garment - like an accessory. When I first pulled them out I worried about the fit. If you measure like they ask you to, you really have nothing to worry about. These are NOT tight, nor do they feel snug. They fit comfortably and stay up nicely. I tend to buy loose clothing (especially pants) and I have no complaints on how these fit. You can feel that they work as soon as you try them on. Where skin used to grip, it now just glides easily past. The lace is not scratchy and holds it's pattern well when put on. They are made in China, designed in the US. They are hand wash, but really that's pretty easy. The packaging is attractive and subtle, I'm including a picture. For sizing, definitely measure your thigh. Mine was smaller than the pant size recommendation and it fits perfectly! I can't say enough about this wonderful design and I'm going to order more colors today if they are available in my size. What a god send!! 6 months pregnant during a UK heatwave my upper thighs have been really sore. Up until now I’ve been wearing shorts under my skirts and dresses but depending on the colour you can see I’m wearing them whereas these are completely hidden! I’m a size 10/12, naturally I’ve gained weight since being pregnant but even the slimmest people’s legs can chafe. Really soft material, true to size and don’t slip down. So so pleased with this product worth every penny!

Ladies and gents. I have had chub rub for years now, I’ve used shorts, cut off leggings, some “comfort shorts” from Evans and nothing, NOTHING as worked as well as these. I orongally ordered a size too big after taking the advice and going up as I was in between, so I was a little disspoainted they didn’t work as well. But I took another chance, ordered a smaller size and by goodness I’m glad I did!!!! THEY ARE AMAZING. gone are painful thighs, hot sweatiness after wearing shorts, and HELLO to feeing fabulous!!!! Make sure you measure properly and you won’t regret it!!!!!!!

Ich habe die Bandelettes jetzt schon mehrfach getragen und bin begeistert. Die Naht trage ich an der Außenseite des Oberschenkels, damit nichts reibt und durch den Silikonstreifen hält es super auf der Haut. Ich habe mir auch noch ein anderes Paar mit durchgehendem Stoff gekauft, bei dem schwitze ich darunter aber. Bei diesen Bandelettes mit Spitze merke ich nichts davon. Sobald man sich einmal an das Gefühl der Bandelettes gewöhnt hat, bemerkt man sie gar nicht mehr. Tipp am Rande: für mich klappt es am besten, wenn ich am WC die Bandelettes ein Stück runterschiebe und danach wieder an ihre Position gebe.
