We use Garden of Life Raw Organic Perfect Food to boost nutrition in my husband’s eggs every morning...it helps mask the taste and works really well that way. We tried it in smoothies, but the flavor didn’t blend as nicely, so it’s better mixed into food. Still a great way to get greens and nutrients in a simple, healthy way. 🌱

I don't even remember how many times I've purchased this, but it's been a lot. I have this order on auto-ship since it's become such a staple in my overall diet. I was researching the best greens powders to use and this one kept popping up. The original flavor does not contain any stevia or added sugars and it also contains a variety of different fruits, vegetables, greens, and probiotics. I mix one scoop into a glass of water with an electric mixer and it breaks up very easily. It does taste like straight up grass water, but I've gotten so accustomed to the taste that it doesn't even phase me anymore. I actually look forward to it LOL. I've read that the flavored ones taste better, but I always buy the original since I don't want anything with stevia in it (sometimes it can cause bloating). As for my gut health (which is what I initially bought this for), I do think it helps clear up my stomach. I noticed that it reduced my bloating and made it easier to go to the bathroom. I like to drink it in the morning after I've had my water and it makes a huge difference. It also makes me feel refreshed and healthy as well. If you're in the market for a great greens powder, I would highly recommend this!

Texture and taste are a bit bitter but overall taste is fine. I put mine in my smoothie everyday and with a blend of banana and blueberries and the strength of the taste is almost not noticeable

Works great and I love that it doesn’t have sweet taste. Maybe a bit pricier than the other famous brand but definitely better choice.

I’ve taken this product for years, this seriously has built up my immune system. I rarely ever get sick. When I start to feel something coming I load up on this and vitamin c1000 and I’m good the very next day.

Well I am writing this having not experienced the full effects of it yet...I just received it today, and I am drinking it now. I love Garden of Life products, that is why I ordered it and I like everything about what it contains. I mixed a scoop with probably more like 10 oz of water with about 2 oz of almond milk (says to mix with 8 oz water, I don't measure). Some people will not like the taste I'm sure because it does taste very vegetative, almost like "dirt" but in a good way (if you know what I mean, some will!). It tastes FRESH, to me, and like it's good for me! hahhaa I like it, it is made with actual cocoa powder and a bit of stevia so I'm sure that helps. It only has 35 calories so should not be used to replace all meals but I will be using it to replace one meal, probably, or even for a snack when I need energy. I will update this tomorrow after also trying it in a smoothie with yogurt, banana, almond milk, coconut oil and ice but without the typical protein powder I use. UPDATING NOW! About an hour after drinking my first try of this stuff, I literally felt an almost surge of energy and good tidings. Really! hahaha sounds silly but I'm not kidding, I haven't felt this good in a long time, honestly. I can't wait to see how I feel when I really integrate this into my new eating and lifestyle habits. I don't have a juicer, can't afford that. I'm not the most lazy person I know but I am quite often loathe to actually make a raw smoothie with veg and such, and if one bought all these great ingredients separately, even if it was possible to, one would spent a ****ton of money and also have large quantities of product that could go bad. Some would say this is expensive for a not huge container of a powdered drink. I might even have said that, but I took the plunge and ordered it on the strength of Garden of Life's reputation and my experience with their stuff. Very pleased so far, and it's only been one day. UPDATE Dec.21, 2013: Still loving this stuff. I do smoothies with a banana, some yogurt, almond milk, frozen fruit like blueberries, this stuff and a scoop of protein powder. Love it!

I used to drink this product for awhile simply because I don't eat enough vegetables, but got bored of it. Unfortunately, my destructive beige diet has caught up with me, and I've developed a bad gut. Constipation, bloating, pain so sharp it feels like a shank- you name it. I was trying everything to try and control the constant need to belch (legitimately close to one burp a minute), as well as the sharp bloating pains. I tried GasX, Beano, and regular pre/probiotics and digestive enzymes to control the gas. They worked... but not effectively, and indeed- the pain + belching continued. One day I was cleaning my cupboard, and rediscovered this product. I thought about how decent I kind of felt when drinking it, and questioned why I stopped it.... I WILL NEVER FORGET TO DRINK THIS EVERY DAY EVER AGAIN. It's actually been a complete reversal of my symptoms since I started drinking this mix in the morning and evening (control nighttime gas which is truly the worst- good luck sleeping on a gassy stomach). Little to no gas during the day, and not enough to wake me up at night anymore. I cried- I thought I was going to be miserable and in pain from bloating and constipated for the rest of my life. I'm so thankful and relieved this won't be the case anymore. Truly, I wish I could give this ten stars- it's a lifesaver! Now, I drink this twice a day and eat some plain greek yogurt/maybe take a digestive enzyme after a heavy carb meal, and it's like I'm back to how I was years ago- normal. If you're having the same issues, don't hesitate- buy it, try it. You will be amazed at how much of a difference it will make!
