3 year toddler has a hard time pushing pedals! What should I adjust?

The seat can be adjusted to bring the child closer to the pedals. Depending on how long the child has been riding, it could just be a learning curve and they will get the hang of it with practice.

This trike model is not foldable.

How do you lock the seat into place? The lever underneath won’t lock on my bike.

I have the same question. Even for me lever underneath doesn't lock.

Will the items in the parent tray fall out when steering/turning?

Yes they do. Also the tray snaps on and so it can't hold very heavy things. For example: a canteen of water, phone, keys, kids drink. And if you take a cup of water when you turn it spills.
