I love it
This was totally the look I was going for I love Grant steering wheels this is my third the I ordered this cause I wanted a more classic look since I am building a 49 Willys jeep the first one that came the wood was separating from the metal so I had Amazon exchange me a new one and it looks great totally happy

Good wheel, install kit bad
The wheel itself is very nic. The install kit needs a rework. It's the EXACT same one from the 70's, which means its junk.

If you're thinking you want a nice new wood steering wheel, look somewhere else. You don't want this to be the thing you touch most in your car. It's TERRIBLE.Metal parts are silver painted - badly. Bubbles. Crap in the paint. Drips.The wood is at least as much filler as wood, and it's sanded in some places. Only in some places.The rivets are poorly installed. Not holding the wood to the wheel well at all. There are gaps between the metal and the wood all the way around the wheel. And they're not even. You will feel it.If I made this I would be ashamed to sell it to somebody.

The wheel spokes are painted
The first grant gt wheel I ever saw painted silver, I thought it was chrome, oh well, my wheel was destroyed, needed it ASAP. It also needed 1/16th lengthening on the hole for the horn. A little grind with the Dremel and it was done. Looks ok, I’ll upgrade to a different wheel later.

Quality Control? What's that?
Okay, so all the metal edges were fresh out of whatever they used to stamp them....rough, sharp edges. The wood rings had gouges and wide gaps where two parts met. I would recommend buying this thing only if you're prepared to return it, or somehow manage to inspect the actual product before purchase. I returned it. Replacement was *marginally* better, but rather than try another spin on the quality wheel, I'm just going to try to fix the second one myself.

Wanted a diffrent tone but with this pattern so i stained it to get the color i wated
It's a light tone and right out the box it's really nice however I wanted a much darker tone not available throughout to match my custom shift knob. Some light sanding good taping, a new stain man this thing is sweeter!
