Lucid 8 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress, Medium Firm, Cooling, Twin XL Size

I love this mattress. It is medium firm as described. It fully expanded in about 36-48 hrs with now issues. Have slept on it now for about 2 weeks.

GREAT mattress for the price! Mattresses arrived safely and vacuumed sealed. No bad off gassing smells! I've purchases three of these within the past 6 months. The first two I purchased in January of 2026. So far so good! I used each with the Tami Tami power adjustable base with no issues. Only time will tell how they hold up in 5 years. I will say that if I had to do it again I would probably opt for the firmer version as the plush sinks a little too much for my liking depending on mine and my wife's sleeping position. They are very easy to set up. For the price, I would DEFINITELY recommend them!! We're really hoping they hold up for at least 5 years... we'll see.

Bed is nice but I found a sewing needle left behind in the mattress when I went to lay down on it. Scratched me pretty good. So yeah. Watch out for that

Now let me start off by saying I have a sleep disorder and typically get about 6-6.5 hours of non consecutive sleep a night. I’ve also been in a high stress situation since Christmas of 2023 which was finally relieved when I moved into this new space. I bought the medium firm 14” mattress and started sleeping on it only a week ago. I’ll be sure to update as time goes on. I needed something more firm as I am definitely a side or stomach sleeper but I didn’t want it to be so firm that I felt like I was sleeping on concrete. I also really wanted a taller mattress since I like to sit on the edge pretty frequently, and I don’t love a low bed cause getting in and out can be difficult... This was perfect. It was super easy to unroll and set up. I left it in my new place for a week before sleeping on it, but I think it would’ve been ready the next day to sleep on. It also didn’t try to hit us in the face when we unwrapped it which was a win. It fit my bed frame perfectly which was expected. It makes no noise, but I’m also the only person sleeping on it so do with that what you will. No smell. Great price for a quality mattress from Amazon. I just need another set of sheets for the thicker mattress, but my 12” set still works for now…LOL I would definitely buy this brand again in the future. I’ll update again in a few months to a year as I typically have chronic back, neck and knee pain that I’m hopeful this will help with. I can say that after a week I’m feeling confident that it’ll only get better.

If you get back ache when you get up in the morning, it's time to change the mattress. Indeed, my old mattress had a visible depression in the middle, and was not supporting my back. In addition to this, my worn out knees felt pain, for the mattress is bowed up, when my body weight is placed on it. Since there is not much cartilage left in my knees, this bowed up situation puts undue pressure on the knee joints. Too often I wake up in pain in the middle of the night and gingerly shift the position. If this resonates with you, then you might want to consider this mattress in the 'firm' rating. It's a memory foam, and it hugs your body contour. The whole body, that is every part of the body that is in contact with the mattress, is supported. Even though it is rated "firm," it does not feel hard; it is actually soft--it will readily give to the weight of your body--but it will hold your body up, without being plush. Plush is bad for your back. Your body is not sinking into the mattress. In this sense, it is 'firm.' I slept on it the first night, and I feel already the difference: my back hurts less. I could straighten up, without the great pain I used to feel. I think it will get better and better. So worth the money I paid for it. I will give 5 stars, after I slept on it for a week. For now it is 4 stars. After One Week report: I must say, I am glad I bought this mattress. The morning after the first night of sleep on this mattress, my back hurt less--about one half? As I slept on the mattress, the back pain significantly diminished. After 7 nights of sleep, the back pain is maybe 1/5 of what it was before. I now can get up and straighten myself without difficulty. Good stuff!

Memory Foam 14". Medium Feel. Purchased May 2024. Paid $535 Reviewed after a month. I don't believe the mattress retains heat, however, I haven't used a mattress that does (spring or memory foam) so I have nothing to compare to. There is a very hot sleeper that uses this full time. In my experience so far, retaining heat comes from what we put on top of the mattress. This mattress itself, laying on it the body does not get hot. The 14" mattress, is a little under 13". Measured when new, after a week, and after a month, it never reaches 14". The medium foam is a fair description. It is probably best for a back or stomach sleeper. A side sleeper will need to add a mattress topper or opt for the softer option. Without adding another layer, you may experience shoulder, hip, and back pain. Tested this with people 5'5" to 6'2" of healthy weights. More or less body weight will sink into the material differently. The foam is very comfortable, but after a month it is slightly uneven all around. It's not noticeable when a person lays down to sleep. A clumsy description is if a person lays on the left side, right side, head to toe, the person will sink into the bed differently on each portion. On one area the bed will feel painfully firm to them, in another area it will be very comfortable. The foam seems to be uneven, but it isn't overly noticeable and can be made more tolerable with an adequate mattress topper. With two people in bed, a person moving around wasn't felt by the other. There's a tiny bit of movement, but it was not noticeable when sleeping. After a month it seems softer. I don't know if this is just perception, but it's giving me the thought this product may not last too many years but I may be wrong. There was a bit of a "new from the manufacturer" scent when you walked into the room, but it wasn't bothersome and is now gone. I'm keeping this product.

This mattress is one of the best purchases I made and if you are a heavy set individual you don’t have to worry about the mattress sagging as it comes right back up. The quality is amazing and long lasting and feels like you’re sleeping on a cloud!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this mattress!!! It is so perfectly firm! I don't sink in at all, and its as firm as the floor while also being comfortable and supportive of my spine! I have had the best sleep, each day that I've had this bed, that I have had in months! I gave it 4 days to fill out and the cover seems to be off centre a bit. The first day it looked a little wonky, and by the third day it was clear the cover was not going to adjust properly. This does not, however, affect the supportiveness of this mattress! It looked weird until I put the sheets on it, and now no one would ever know had I not mentioned it here. For the price, this is far beyond worth it.

Really comfy so far. I have Sacroiliitis and Ankylosing Spondylitis and work 4 12 hour shifts and this bed melts my pain off my joints, body and back love it I was skeptical at first but the high reviews changed my mind
