The shea butter will be hard when you receive it. Apparently normal. You'll need a small, hard scraper to remove it from the container. But it will soften and melt quickly as you manipulate it. I'm testing it against Vitamin E on my knee scar. So far, the shea butter seems to flatten and lighten the scar better, but it's been only about 10 days.

This really is the best quality shea butter I've found. The texture, consistence and color work beautifully in CP soap

Great stuff !!! So much better than any other moisturizer. Heals scars much better than the way expensive scar cream that begins with an "M" and ends with an "a". Sooths tired dry feet apply after a shower or bath and put cotton socks on, it feels like a cozy blanket on your feet.

Softer than raw cocoa butter. No need to melt to apply it to your skin. It’s a bit firmer than chapstick. Smell isn’t too strong. Keeps my tattoos nice and bright.
