Forsaking All Others

love her writting/ book arrived on time and in good condition

Forsaking All Others is a good beach read, but it's not the book that Family Blessings was for me. The story of Allison and Rick is sweet, funny and "nice", but it doesn't leave the feeling that everything was wrapped up as it should be and Family Blessings did that. I apologize for comparing the two books, but they are the only two LaVyrle Spencer books that I've read, so it's hard not to compare the two. So, if you're looking for a sweet romance with little complications, this is the book for you. Enjoy.

I started reading LaVyrle Spencer several years ago. Wonderful writer. From Minnesota. With her last book "Then Came Heaven", I have all of them. I will be passing them on to my daughter to have and read when her her busy life settles down. It was kind of sad reading LaVyrle's note at the end of story that this is her last book. Talking about the life she has lived. But she has put in a lot of hard work as well. Now it is time for her to enjoy life and all the things the future will bring.

I purchased a book with two stories in one. It was slow in the beginning, but as I read through pages, it became a very moving story to remember in your life time. If you have experienced ever being hurt by men with whom you trusted deeply, you will identify with yourself in this book. I really recommend this book for a change,because you will discover a hidden message of life lesson in Spencer's novel each time when you read her books. Good reading with good tears at the end.

4 Stars - This is an older dated story but looking past that, it's a beautiful story of a gorgeous, unpretentious male model who falls for the dynamic photographer who's been betrayed in the past by her ex-boyfriend who is also a model. I loved how Rick was enchanted with Allison and fought to be with her.

This is another book by Lavyrle Spencer that does not disappoint. Each book of hers that I've read has an interesting group of characters, and each book has it's own characters, location and story, so you don't have to worry about reading them in sequence.There's a wonderful life lesson in each book. If you like romances for grown-ups, you cannot go wrong with one of Spencer's.

A book that I didn't want to put down

I wish I could find a book that I haven't read. I'm pretty sure I've read all of her books and was sad when she quit. When I read her books I can't wait to get to the end to see how it ends but at the same time I hate to say goodbye to the characters!

Not very interesting. I wanted to try her books but wish I had not wasted money on them. Other's may like her style but I would not rush to buy any more.

Really enjoying this book and eiukd recommend it to anyone who loves romance. This is a very sensitive author. Nicola
